In the heart of the Souk but still tucked away that it's still very peaceful and quiet. The Riad & Rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable. Breakfast is basic but very nice and plentiful. Our room was cleaned, new towels and bed made every day once we where out (which we didn’t expect). The host gave us all the advice necessary and always on hand for assistance. The Riad is tucked away in an alley and it would be hard to find if you don’t know it’s there. This is why we opted for the Riad to have a taxi (15 Euro) waiting for us at the airport that could take us straight there. After that it is very easy to find. The main square ( Jemaa El-Fnaa) is no more than a few minutes walk and around the corner from Place De Epices. Where you will find nice restaurants (Nomad, Cafe de Epices, L'Mida) which I highly recommend. I would recommend Riad Samarine 100%.

A lovely riad, right in the centre of the Souk. We used the collection service (15euros) and I'm not sure we'd found it without that! Once we got our bearings though it was easy to find and it was a great location. The room was large and had a mini fridge, there was wifi (best we found) and a lovely roof terrace as well. Breakfast was simple but very good and the staff were lovely. On an eco front, they didn't need to change the towels every day, but that shouldn't stop you from using them. I would definitely recommend and go back again. The souk itself is enormous and very busy as is the square, but at all times we felt safe and on the whole the people were lovely.

Like many Riads this one is tucked away down an alley and takes a bit of finding. Google maps will get you there though. 5 mins walk to the main square. Close to everything but you won't be woken by prayer calls. Very calm and relaxing a**osphere once you go through the front door and enter within. Nice refreshing plunge pool and big roof top terrace. We (2 adults + 2 teenagers) stayed in a large room with 1 double bed and 2 singles in a curtained off area that gave privacy. Very clean and nice hot showers. Breakfast was nice. Mint tea, coffee, bread, pancakes etc. Host was very helpful with advice, booking travel and responded to messages quickly before we arrived. English speaking. WiFi is good.

Fantastic short stay at this beautiful and clean Riad with my family. The rooms are spacious and the beds are soo comfortable. Really loved their bedsheets! Every night I had a comfortable sleep. The owner Abdullatif is extremely hospitable and helpful. The Riad js beautiful and is situated in the souk so its perfect for shoppers. It’s a short walk away from the main square (you basically just walk through the souk. At the start, we arranged for an airport pick up with the Riad so that we don’t get lost looking for it. Breakfast was very different to a typical English breakfast but was limited but varied and we got freshly squeezed orange juice everyday. The two ladies who served and cooked the breakfast were very welcoming and friendly

We had a wonderful stay. The riad is very well located and the people very friendly. The room was clean, quiet and it had an air condition. The breakfast was delicious. We will definitely would stay there again!

We stayed there for 3days with my family and had a wonderful time! This road is a little gem. Very quiet and comfortable!
Beautiful set up inside, nice breakfast and good internet for those who need to work in the evening. Make sure you book the transfer with the hotel, as it saves a lot of time and nerves after long flight.
Abdu was very extremely helpful recommending us places around and helping us with our luggage. Highly recommend!! Would definitely stay again!

The Samarine is in the middle of the Medina. Streets are narrow, motorbikes jostle with pedestrians in the Souks. It takes a day to find your way through the maze of alleys.
Samarine, however. Is on a quiet deadend. There is no noise inside. The rooftop is enjoyable. The breakfasts are excellent. The staff is excellent and the bed was comfortable.
Samarine is not for everybody because it is comparably inaccessible. At the same time, staying there is an adventure that many will enjoy. We are glad we chose Samarine.
