"Stayed there for three nights with my husband and I had a wonderful time there. We loved that staff understood and could speak English, which is not very common in Morocco. The breakfast buffet offers a great choice and there is an excellent room service. They have lovely outside area with pool and a Spa area with heated pool. They also have a great roof top bar with DJ. Special shoutout to Soukoina, Azzeddine, Simo, Omor and chef Rouhssin. I hope that all the names are correctly spelled, if not, then my apologies. It was a perfect end to our Morocco trip thanks to Cesar Resort and Spa."

"The hotel was in a quiet location, the pool was nice. Unfortunately our room was very disappointing. In our first room the AC was not working. Maintenance came to fix it, there was a slight improvement but still not great. Then whilst opening the shower door, the door fell off the wall. This looks like it was because the door had not been maintained. This is not what you would expect in any establishment - let alone a 4* hotel. It also had the potential to be very dangerous, luckily I was strong enough to hold the weight of the door before assistance came. The hotel moved us to a new room and gave us a nice selection of food in our new room which was nice gesture although we would have expected more. The AC in the new room worked well so the room change was welcome. Unfortunately, the fridge in the room was leaking internally so we had to throw away food that we were storing in there as it became damp from an internal leak. One of these occurrences we could probably accept but to have three issues with repairing is not what I expect from Accor. The hotel needs serious maintenance!"

"This is a long-established five-star hotel, located next to "Sleepless Square." There are a few parking spaces in front, and dedicated reception staff. We arrived early, and they prepared mint tea and snacks for us. The room was large and clean, and the breakfast was plentiful. The staff were constantly attentive, refilling water, cleaning, and checking on us – very thoughtful. However, the price of nearly 2000 RMB per night is a bit expensive. Before we left, the staff helped us with our luggage and retrieved our car; we gave them a 20 DH tip each, and they were very happy."

"I stayed at Bab hotel for 3 nights this past April and had a wonderful experience! The hotel staff is extremely friendly and will arrange your transportation to and from the hotel (make sure you take at Morocco currency). You can get massages for a good price here and breakfast is included. The location was safe and away from the center of the city. The rooms were spacious with an amazing bathroom. The pool isn't appealing but overall a place worth staying!"

"Before even entering the Domaine de Douar, the approach can be surprising as you drive through the small village and its narrow paths. But once you pass through the gate, from the moment you arrive until your departure, the staff goes above and beyond to meet the needs of their guests. From Yassin, who greets you with helpful advice, to Mohamed, who manages the restaurant and provides thoughtful touches, the waitresses work with quiet dedication and respect for the guests. Finally, a special mention for the person who is always there to open the gate for us, day and night. A wonderful experience far from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech and its traffic. We'll definitely be back."

"!!!Note: The address listed for this guesthouse, 212 Derb el Cadi, is incorrect on Google Maps. This address is in the west of the city, but the guesthouse is in the east. You need to search for "Dar Hilana." Take a bus to the Bab aylan gate, then walk about 500 meters. This guesthouse seems to be newly opened; the facilities are quite new. It has three floors, with a rooftop terrace offering a good view. The overall decor has a strong local feel. The area outside the guesthouse is a local residential area with fruit and snack shops, but no restaurants. We usually ate near the tourist attractions. The breakfast was quite plentiful, including yogurt, honey, bread, and fried eggs, and tasted pretty good. The owner and staff were very friendly. However, I felt the guesthouse's decor focused too much on artistic flair and neglected practicality. I expect the maintenance costs will be quite high in the future. For example, the bathroom walls weren't tiled; they were just whitewashed, which is prone to mold and peeling."
