Everything was perfect: location, service, breakfast, interior design. Rooftop terrace was amazing, with unforgettable sunsets. Mounaim is always there providing valuable advice on restaurants, attractions, helping with reservations. A big “thank you” to the him and his kind staff. Hope we will be back someday!

So many positive things to say about this brilliant place. The accommodation is absolutely gorgeous and we had a lovely room on the roof terrace that made it feel like we were in our own private hotel. Every morning we stepped out on to the terrace and were served a delicious continental breakfast with some local delicacies as well. But what really makes this place so special are the small team of caring staff at Dar Mo'da that go out of their way every day to make you feel special and genuinely wish to help in any way they can. Mounaim the manager was super helpful and booked dinners and attractions for us and gave us some great tips during our 4 day stay. If you are visiting Marrakech then this place should be top of your list. You won't regret it. We certainly will be back for another Moroccan adventure!!

Élégant space with a gracious, dedicated staff makes for a thoroughly relaxing stay in the midst of the action. Delicious breakfasts and gorgeous sunsets from the spacious yet intimate roof terraces. Be sure to arrange in advance lunch or dinner prepared just for you - better than any restaurant. Cleanliness, quality and quiet are priorities for us. This experience was exactly what we needed. A fantastic small hotel, ideally placed in the heart of the Medina, very close to the Secret Garden. The Dar is beautifully furnished throughout in a light, calming palette. Our room was luxurious and comfortable with a lovely seating area and everything you could want for a comfortable stay. The rooftop terrace was particularly lovely for breakfast and a late evening drink. The customer service was incredible from all the staff - someone was always on hand to bring you a mint tea or direct you personally through the souks. Our host Mounaim could not have been more helpful with his recommendations of places to visit and longer trips, taking away the stress of having to research and organise ourselves. His suggested restaurants were always amazing and he recommended some great quality carpet shops as well which we would never have found on our own. You can even have a traditional hammam at the Dar which we enjoyed very much. All in all one of the best holidays we’ve had, we will be recommending this Dar to everyone we know.

My friend Claire and I stayed at Dar Mo'da for 5 days in October 2023. It was our first time to Marrakesh and we chose the riad based on reviews online. From the first moment we arrived, it didn't disappoint! Mounaim and his team were exemplary - they couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful or made us feel more special throughout our stay! Although you're in the heart of the medina, the riad is quiet and relaxing and tastefully furnished throughout in the local style. We arranged a pick up from the airport vianthe riad, and were escorted on foot to the property when the taxi couldn't go any further. We were met by Mounaim, a most charming and helpful man, and welcomed with mint tea and local delicacies. We had a beautiful room on the top floor. We ate a delicious breakfast on the top terrace cooked to our request each morning - cereal, yoghurt, pastries, juice, coffee and omelettes. Mounaim went above and beyond to ensure we made the most of our stay. He provided us with a map, water and recommendations on where to go (not just the usual tourist spots) and where to eat. He also gave us his number in case we became lost in the medina. He recommended restaurants each evening, made the reservations and arranged for us to be guided there and back. He is an absolute credit to the riad! On the Saturday night, we were invited to have drinks with the Australian owner, David and his friend Riccardo, who were visiting from Milan. David in particular was very welcoming and hospitable - a lovely man who has some fascinating stories to share. Also we were two women alone, we never felt unsafe or vulnerable whilst walking everywhere in the city, and it was a great opportunity to practise our french. On the last night we were provided with drinks and nibbles in our room and a 'cadeau' of spices from the markets. Thank you to Mounaim and team, to David and Riccardo for the amazing time we had in Marrakesh. I would recommend Dar Mo'da every time. A truly memorable trip and we will return!

A place very close to paradise. The moment you enter you feel how much love into every detail was put and you immediately relax from the fast life outside in the Medina. If you read this and you are hesitating if you should book, just do it - we did not regret our decision at any second. Great breakfast, great hammam and massage. Mounaim and his team provided exceptional service throughout our stay.

Dar Mo’da is probably the best place you can stay whilst in Marrakech. The riad itself is so peaceful, stylish and comfortable, beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. The staff are so welcoming, it felt like there was nothing too much trouble for them to make our stay perfect. The location in the heart of the medina, was of course incredibly convenient, but the tranquility here felt like you entered another place, once you walked through the doors. All in all, a highly recommended place to stay - the room, the breakfasts, the sun terrace, the complimentary mint tea, and of course our wonderful host Mounaim, I would struggle to find any fault with Dar Mo’da.

Dar Mo’da is a very lovely place to stay in the Medina of Marrakesh. The location couldn’t be better- right across from the Secret Garden with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious. Fresh flowers and fruit were brought to the room. The public spaces were lovely and comfortable although with so much to see in town, we didn’t linger at the hotel a lot. Breakfast was served on the upstairs terrace and it was delicious and plentiful- fresh orange juice, freshly baked bread, fruit, jams and eggs done as requested. The staff was very helpful; carrying our bags up and down the steep stairs, greeting us at the door. Our host, Mo, was perfect- making suggestions and reservations for us, arranging massages…. His demeanor is very calming, competent and confident. We renewed the entire hotel (5 rooms) and felt like we had a small, personal palace in the center of Marrakesh. My only hesitation in writing this review is that I don’t want Dar M’oda to become too popular and difficult to book for our next trip!

Beautiful, peaceful and run to perfection by Mo and his lovely team. The location is excellent if you want to be able to explore the Medina on foot. But inside the Riad things are peaceful and quiet. The rooftop terrace, plunge pool and breakfasts were all lovely features. The best thing about the place is the level of service and comfort. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff and Mo go to so much effort. They even offered to help wrap our shopping safely for the flight and walked us to venues and booked meals for us. They strike a perfect balance between looking after you completely but never being intrusive. Wonderful people and nothing you could complain about at this place.
