The most amazing place, people and stay. We could not recommend it enough. The staff go above and beyond for their guests more than anywhere else we’ve ever stayed.

It takes about 4 hours to arrive by boat. It is a very arduous journey. Friends who are seasick should be careful. This island is very primitive and has a very quiet environment. Because it is in the harbor with calm waves, it is very suitable for snorkeling. The room environment is good, one person has a small villa, be careful to prevent mosquitoes, and the room has a small activity area, which is not bad. Meals are average, and some require additional payment, especially breakfast. In short, this hotel is the most cost-effective on Yasawa Island and is suitable for those who like a quiet vacation. Watch out for geckos!

I stayed at the resort for three days and everything was very good. The room was cleaned several times a day, which was very considerate. The snorkeling activities we went to participate in were beautiful and there were other activities that were quite interesting. There was also a dog named Dolly who was very dear to me.

I which I could give it more stars for the wonderful staff and our bure but this is an overall review of the island. We arrived at the pick up point for Navutu Stars which because of the shallow reef system is a long way from the resort itself and was a little surprised to see a small runabout come and pick us up for a very upmarket resort. On arrive we were met by a large Welcome home sign and singing .Taniele or Dan (Guest Relations Manager) got us to sit down and fill out the paperwork and explained everything to us. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, wifi etc. There was also an option of a free 20 minute massage but only available on day 1 which I thought was odd as it is maybe not you want as you just arrive. Breakfast is provided in the package and you can either purchase a meal plan that consists of a 2 course lunch and a 3 course dinner at FJD$225.00 per person / day or half board dinner plan option that includes a 3 course dinner at F$169.00 per person /day and you purchase lunch a la carte with this option or just do as we did purchase a la carte off the menu as we are not big eaters and it worked out a lot cheaper. Happy hour is round the bar from around 6:30pm There are 2 Garden Bures number 2 which you have to climb up 15 concrete steps alongside a very loose hand rail that was reported to the staff as completely unsafe or go down logs steps to the beach and then walk up and around other bures to get to the main area. Our friends stayed in this one. We had Garden Bure 9 which was behind and in between the beachfront bures which was on level ground thankfully with my wife's bad legs. We would not have been able to stay in bure 2. Thankfully when I inquired the reservation people locked in this bure for us and explained to us that it only had the 2 steps to get on the veranda. What can I say about our garden bure 9 it was 5 star it had large French doors with filtered views of the lagoon with a large king bed, Lounge, Fridge with 2 free 500ml bottles of water provided daily (You can't drink the water on the island unless from the restaurant bar where ice is also available but you can buy bottle water at FJ$5:00 for a 1.5 ltr bottle) a safe,2 umbrellas, a his and hers night robe. In the separate bathroom are bottles of supplied body wash, shampoo and conditioner along with a his and hers hand basin (my wife liked that). Now in regards to the resort. The close down for covid has not been kind to Navutu Stars all the sand shown in the current Navutu Stars photos of the beachfront bures has been washed away and instead a one metre high rock wall has been built to hold back the sand with steps down to many exposed rocks. A lot of the Bures thatched roofs need replacing or redoing the boutique shop has now gone but there is a activates bure where you can get fins etc from. The concrete saltwater swimming pool is nice but no hand rail to get in or out which would be helpful even though the concrete steps don't appear to be slippery Due to low num

This was our second trip to Navutu Stars! (Its my happy place.) There's a reason why returned...actually many reasons. First and foremost the team at Navutu are the most friendliest and delightful. An absolute pleasure to be around every single day. We both felt like one of the family. It would not be fair to single out any particular team member...so I won't! Although Dolly is certainly up there. We particularly enjoyed having our holiday dogs keep us company. The food is amazing, snorkelling too and kayaking! A great place to unwind! Bures are super spacious and kept spotless by our beautiful housekeeper. Massage with Aggie is a must do! Our drinks were especially well served (thank you Penne - and of course, Tokasa), Damn it, I said I wouldn't name names! Thank you Varani, Solo, Lido and all the rest! All staff were sooo lovely! Paradise! We are busy preparing our next adventure at Navutu Stars Resort!

There are no words to describe our experience at navatu stars! We spent 2 weeks there as an anniversary gift to ourselves. We feel it’s like getting a re-set, a re-boot, away from the craziness of the world, removed from every stress and spending time with the most incredible people in the most idyllic place. They are untouched by the influences of the world, so seeped in hate and politics. They are positive, and loving and genuinely caring. Their culture is a reminder of what ‘community’ means. Every person who works there felt like family by the time we left. We still miss them. Everything about the resort was incredible. I can’t recommend it enough. If you haven’t had a vacation at navatu you are seriously missing out.

The real Fiji!! Navutu Stars is a small resort of approximately 20 guests at capacity. Holidays at Navutu are casual, no shoes required, just bring your bathers and a book. You might wonder how you will fill in your days without tv, limited internet or shopping - or maybe that’s just me! :) Reconnect, learn the Fijian culture, there’s always snorkelling, fishing, napping and eating, your cup will be overflowing! You will leave Navutu feeling fresh, relaxed and grateful for the experience. The staff are welcoming, and personal, the bures are comfortable and clean. The beds are turned down and mozzie coils are lit each night. The menu is varied and caters for all dietary needs. This is a truly special family holiday.

When we think back about our stay at Navutu we remember it with so much joy! We have stayed in touch with many of the staff there and consider them friends if not family. The Fijian hospitality, the food, the location, the peace and tranquillity, are all what we consider 5 star. Anyone who comes expecting the traditional version of 5 star is not going to appreciate this beautifully remote and unique place. It is rustic and soulful, not glitzy and pretentious. If the latter is more your style then go to the Hilton or the Sheraton, that is not what this gem of a place is about. It is about beautiful Fijian people in a laid back and remote location, and we will return without a doubt.
