My party of 2 adults, 2 teens stayed here for 4 nights to ski. Location is excellent, in the town center about 200m from the escalator where you can ski over to the olympique lift complex. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. There is no parking at the hotel itself, so we parked at one of the large paid garages in town and it worked out fine. It has a charming front patio with nice views. Checkin was fast and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a quad room and it was on the small side but adequate. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom a little bigger than average by european standards and spotless. There is no elevator, so be aware if stairs are an issue for you. Wifi was ok, but not great. We had alot of trouble setting up the initial connection and the signal from our room wasn't great ... the lobby was better. Breakfast was good and plentiful, though they used a coffee machine. The ski room was very small and you had to store your boots in a separate room in the basement, which was inconvenient. We opted for the half-board and regretted it. We had 1 good meal, 2 OK meals, and 1 bad meal. I love eating out in France and really missed that aspect, especially since meribel has alot of places to eat. Meribel is an expensive town for hotels, so I'd definitely stay at the Hotel Genepi again given the lower price compared to others. Skiing was spectacular ... we loved Meribel and the 3 valleys.

Unfourtunate covid circumstances with closure of borders lead to cancellation of holiday. Hotel very uncooperative not only refused to refund 50% of the stay but took the other 50% against their own policy and denied it (having shared evidence). Will never book again with them.

Je met une étoile car je n’ai pas la possibilité d’en mettre aucune. Même c’est étoile c’est bien trop. Chambre salle, avec marque de personnes allongé sur le lit avant. Rien à voir avec les photos, chambre totalement vide. 2 table de nuit, deux lit non fait et c’est tout. Le radiateur à fond qui ne peux pas se régler. 160€ pour ça c’est une escroquerie, j’ai pris cette chambre pour mes parents et j’ai eu honte de devoir les faire dormir là dedans. Je suis allé voir le réceptionniste avec les photos qu’il ont mis sur booking afin qu’ils ai une autre chambre on m’a dit que l’hôtel était complet alors qu’il n’y avait pas un chat. J’ai écris pour qu’ils nous rembourse et je n’ai eu aucune réponse. Ah oui j’ai oublié, l’odeur est infecte et les locaux sont complètement délabrés et à l’abandon. Scandaleux que louer des chambres à ce prix là et dans cette état soit légale (si ça l’est, ce dont je ne suis vraiment pas sûr, car c’est vraiment un manque de respect et une tromperie au consommateur). Bref dans tout les cas à éviter, dormir dans votre voiture sera une bien meilleur option croyez moi.

Un responsable très agréable et à l'ecoute de nos demande mais une réceptionniste du soir désagréable et non chalante que nous avons eu l'impression de déranger. (Souffle et lève yeux au ciel lorsque vous demandez quelque chose) Demande si il est possible de chauffer un biberon dans la nuit, réponse "au pire c'est que du lait elle peut le boire froid" Heureusement que le responsable est à l'ecoute, il nous a donné un chauffe biberon dès le lendemain.
