The Savoy Hotel & Beach Club

Having not been to South Miami Beach before, we very pleased with the Savoy! We were looking for a short getaway  and some beach time and this resort did not disappoint. The staff were absolutely wonderful! Very friendly, accommodating and top notch professional service. The historic hotel and grounds were beautiful. We were very happy with our stay and will be coming back here the next time we visit Miami Beach!

Excellent hotel - perfect location on Ocean Drive- with great facilities and staff

While the hotel location is good, the hotel leaves much to be desired. First, we were assigned a king bed room overlooking the street with a balcony.  However on our second day we were made to change rooms to a queen with no balcony.  The staff messed up the reservation.  Second there was no buffet breakfast.  Third, there was no mention anywhere before booking about the daily resort fee of $45. I would not choose to stay at the Savoy Hotel again or recommend it to friends.  For the prices charged there should be a buffet breakfast and the statf should know how to handle a reservation

This property is truly a hidden gem. The beautiful rooms, especially those with balcony views, are absolutely priceless and provide the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The location couldn’t be better—conveniently situated right beside the beach and tucked away in the quieter part of Ocean Drive, offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere while still being close to everything. A special thank you to Denzel, the Front Desk Manager, whose professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. The pool attendants were equally outstanding, always attentive and ensuring guests had everything they needed. What sets this property apart is the exceptional staff. Everyone is consistently friendly, helpful, and accommodating, especially when unexpected circumstances arise during your visit. Their commitment to guest satisfaction is evident in every interaction. If you’re looking for a relaxing beachfront stay with outstanding service, beautiful accommodations, and an unbeatable location, this is the place to be. We look forward to returning again and again.

Loved our stay! The room was clean, the staff was kind and helpful, and the beach view was amazing. The location was perfect, and we had a very relaxing vacation. We would definitely come back again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

You're paying for location at this resort. This is not a $500+ a night resort. I also understand we went over a holiday weekend so one of our nights was over $800, and it's not even close to being an $800 a night room, it was like an old school $100 a night room at the Days Inn. Bathroom floor tile needs to be completely replaced, the carpet in the hallways need to be replaced. It's a very old building that needs lots of updates. Like I said you're paying for the location. The drinks at the pool bar are $25+ and not many options, it's very expensive place to stay and there's zero amenities. The property doesn't even have a hotel restaurant or bar besides the pool bar and it closes at 6:30 then you're on your own, you have to leave the property to get just about anything you need. I was highly disappointed that I paid over $3,000 for 4 nights, we could've stayed at the Lowe's or the Ritz for the same amount of money and both of those hotels are much much nicer. Won't be going back to the Savoy I'll just uber to south of 5th if I have to next time I come to South beach. It's not worth the ridiculous amount of money their rooms are especially when they have zero amenities for their guest. Oh yea and they sell day passes to the public and we couldn't even get chairs by the pool the first two days we were there bc they were all taken and hotel guest don't get any kind of priority over the day passers.
