A quirky place that doesn’t allow electromagnetic radiation so all devices have to be turned off, they even had a radiation meter at reception to check. Connectors and ethernet cables are provided to connect phones etc to the imternet. Room was spacious but bathroom was very small. Lovely grounds by a lake, we had tea outside on the patio then went for a walk. There was an outdoor swimming pool which looked nice, although we didn’t use it. Food was excellent, local and innovative. There was a set menu, so no choice and no information about what you would be eating until it came. You just chose 3,4 or 5 courses. Expensive but really good. Overall, an enjoyable stay with friendly helpful staff.

We loved this place. We found it by chance and stayed there for one night. The castle and the rooms are beautifully furnished. The park around the castle and the lake are very charming. We are planning to come back there next year for a longer stay.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Domaine de La Briandais for 3 nights ( 1-4 august), a stay never to forget. When we arrived we were a bit disappointed with a small room with no airco, and the heat got us. The 2 ladies who welcomed have been moving mountains and did everything possible to make sure we got a great stay. They moved us to a bigger room on the north side, much cooler and spacious. Despite our complaints on arrival they always stayed very polite and friendly, a real royal feel for the clients. We enjoyed our stay so much that my wife wanted to stay an extra night, but had to drive back home. I do not know how to thank the whole team as they all went extra miles so that we could enjoy our holiday. Thank you, we will certainly be back and as well recommend to our friends. Wow!! a beautifully restored and maintained Manoir in Bretagne. Lovely wooded park, plent of space to get lost in a book, play yard games or just walk and take in the natural surroundings. Walk down to the lake/pond and look across at the other Manoir. The location is beautiful and also close to the neighboring Chateau de la Bretesche with its beautiful chateau, golf course and Michelin restaurant. Keep in mind — Sobriete Electromagnetique — it means no electromagnetic waves. All computer connections are through ethernet — and they provide ther requisite adapters for computers and phones.

Magnifique domaine, calme et arboré. La chambre est confortable avec lit king site, et WC indépendant. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine et du restaurant. On coupe la WIFI mais des câbles éthernet/USB sont disponibles dans tout l'établissement et il y a un téléphone dans la chambre pour rester joignable. Nous recommandons

Points positifs : écrin de verdure, accueil souriant Points négatifs : chambre supérieure très petite, salle de bain exigue sans tablette pour poser les trousses de toilette et maquillage, pas de glace grossissante dans la salle de bain, ni de petites attentions qu'on a l'habitude de trouver dans une salle de bain. Les toilettes séparées sont un plus, mais il y a une petite marche (dangereux la nuit si vous n'allumez pas la lumière ) et elles sont exigues pour des personnes assez grandes une fois assis (lol). Côté PdJ 17 € par personne j'avais précisé, lorsque j'ai reçu le questionnaire des souhaits, que nous prenions que des tous petits déjeuners, pour ma part 2 biscottes et mon conjoint 3 ou 4 viennoiseries avec café, lait froid et surtout rien de plus, mais il semblerait que les biscottes leur posaient problème car il n'y en avait pas (donc pas de petit déjeuner pour moi et 3 viennoiseries pour mon conjoint le tout 34 € !!! J'aurais apprécié un geste de la part de la direction, mais rien. Nous avions prévu de diner, en précisant que nous ne prenions qu'un plat et dessert, mais il n'y a pas de carte, menus 3 ou 4 plats imposés à partir de 37 € nous n'avons pas souhaité prendre de risque et avons annulé le repas... Allant plusieurs fois par an en Bretagne je ne retiendrais pas cette adresse, pour nos haltes, et notamment pour notre retour le 16 septembre !!! Trop de manières, pour pas de résultats !!!

Le produit pour le produit. Excellent moment dans un cadre magnifique. Ok on doit couper son téléphone portable : mais quel plaisir de pouvoir savourer l'instant sans être distrait. Pour la cuisine , la carte blanche nous invite à découvrir ou re-découvrir des saveurs. Chaque produit est sublimé et respecté. Il y a des restaurants où vous payez pour le produit haut de gamme ou la richesse du lieu. Ici c'est le travail de cuisine qu'il faut saluer. Le service est de plus discret et à l'écoute. Une adresse à ne pas manquer.
