OYO Hotel Mobile, Al I-65 at Airport Blvd

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST possible hotel that I could have booked. I was told before check-in that my room had no television nor microwave. The night desk clerk told me that I could contact my booking company and would be given a refund despite the website said no refunds. Since I was going to be there for 3 days, I decided that 3 days without a television nor a microwave would be impossible, so I never checked in. It has taken over a week of being given the runaround to find out that the night desk clerk straight up lied. I did NOT get a refund --not even a partial refund. You can bet that NONE OF THE ROOMS HAVE ANYTHING ON THE AMENITIES LIST, CAUSE I SAW EVERYTHING IN THE OFFICE BEHIND THE DESK!!!! IF YOU BOOK HERE, YOU'RE AN *****!!! I'M WARNING YOU AHEAD OF TIME!!!!! I wish someone would have posted a review warning travelers about their experience, I NEVER would have taken the time that it took us to locate it, especially since they didn't even have a sign up, only a banner that you not only couldn't see, but couldn't have read if you COULD HAVE seen it, because it was all wadded up!!!!! TRAVELERS BEWARE:::: THIS HOTEL IS DEFINITELY NOT WHERE YOU WANT TO BE!!!!! STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET FROM THIS "CHAIN"!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel was nasty bugs

Place was straight up dirty. Cracked windows, AC that didnt work. Residue of "cleaning powder" that had been scraped into lines on the desk. Photos do not reflect property condition at all.

As I was checking in I say another customer staying at the hotel, asking the front desk person for some toilet paper. This man had audacity to bring that customer to used rolls of toilet paper. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw that. They also took our $50 cash deposit for what I don’t know they don’t provide towels they don’t provide washcloth, and they barely even provide toilet paper. In the morning at check out time they went and checked the room for what? There’s been anything in that room it was a cheap stay and they made sure that it was super Duper cheap because they treated you cheap. My recommendation take your own washcloth towel and toilet paper. I would never ever ever ever ever ever stay at that place again

Got there to check in and was told no tvs or cable so asked for refund was told I would get it threw ******* then ******* send them the request for refund and they deny it… like really…

You must have $50 cash deposit when you check into the hotel and after they check the room when you leave it will be returned to you. This property is very old and needs much repairs... It is satisfactory for a one-night stay if you are on a very tight budget. However please note that the other hotels opposite this one only cost a little more and they are a much better condition. It is better than sleeping on the street, the homeless shelter, or in your 🚗 car since at least you can 🚿 here.

NASTY!!!! Rundown!!!!! NO TV, NO TISSUE, NO TOWELS!!!!! AND THEY MAKE YOU GIVE A $50 Deposit!!!!!!!! Shower didn’t work either!!!!

The place was scary for sure. Debris EVERYWHERE outside as they were remodeling, but made no effort to hide the trash. There were broken toilet seats and glass and literal trash scattered all over the premesis. The pool water was green. There were 3 roaches in my hotel. They didnt give me any towels or soap. The walls were thin that i could hear the neighbors all night. The top lock was broken, so i only had the 1 lock. There were stains and holes everywhere. I only stayed there because i was solo and had no other option except for my car, and i am not from this state. The tv and microwave were broken and i wasnt informed of that until i got there. When i booked online it said id have those things. I wish i had taken more pictures, but i didnt know id get the chance to review this place. This is all i took, but i promise, it is way worse than the pictures look. Spend your money elsewhere.
