Hopefully this review helps other people not make the same mistakes I did! The reviews about “too many French people” make me giggle, we were there for Bastille Day, so it was very French, but staff didn’t treat us any differently, we loved it. If the hotel was full of British people I'd have hated it, us Brits are awful! The Hotel: The hotel itself is beautiful, no issues with cleanliness (the toilets in the main hall always smelled a little – I think just cause there was no windows/ fresh air in there, but staff were always in cleaning it – people should just poop in their hotel room!!) I couldn’t figure out how to work the air conditioner when we arrived, and when I called reception someone came up straight away. The beach was also a hidden gem, always really quite – and the water was so cold, which was just what I needed sometimes. The Room: The room was fine, maids were lovely, only thing I struggled with was the heat – as when you take your key card out the slot it turns the air-con off, which normally doesn’t bother me but the air-con took a while to actually cool down the room. I learned around 3 days into the holiday that you could shove literally any card into the slot, so I left a business card in there and after that the room was lovely & cool! No issues with noise, bugs, dirt or anything like that, beds were comfy. The only main issue I had – was that I couldn’t get Wifi in my room which was really annoying, but we didn’t spend much time in there anyway. The Pool: Standard ‘no sunbeds’ when we came down in the morning, however a lovely male member of staff found us some when we asked, we made the effort to get up earlier for the rest of the week, so no issues really. The beach always had sunbeds if there was none by the pool anyway. The towels were a slight nigh**are for us – as we didn’t have cash for the deposit & the hotel doesn’t have a cash machine, so on our first day we had to wander around for ages to find a cash point whilst being *harassed* by men working in the shops. (When I say harassed, it was awful – they were following us to the cash point, not taking no for an answer etc) This obviously wasn’t the hotels fault but wanted to mention it for anyone who like me – never has any cash on holiday anymore! We ended up just buying some towels from one of the market stalls once we found a cash point. Food: We spoke to a few other ‘brits abroad’ whilst we were by the pool (there was only I think about 10 of us, but it was Bastille Day, so we expected this). Everyone said that they had a bad stomach for the first few days they arrived, as did me and my partner. We also read the previous reviews so we were kind of expecting it. The food was nice, they had a BBQ outside, pasta bar, generally lovely food, but I was initially convinced this was why I was feeling sick. I tried eating different things every day, not eating, going outside the hotel, only drinking bottled water, not drinking alcohol – with no luck. By d
