We are traveling with a group of 5 people, 3 adults and 2 children under 14 years old (my friend’s mother and child, my child and I). We booked two rooms for a 10-day trip. This hotel was the last one we booked on the way back. Stay for one night and return to Chengdu the next day! At that time, when I read the Ctrip reviews, I went solely for the delicious food, and the accommodation came second, haha! , but I have to say that it really gave us an unexpected experience. It can be said that this hotel was the most comfortable and delicious one we stayed at during our trip. We must give it a thumbs up! The boss and wife are very hospitable and help with luggage. The shop owners are two brothers and two chefs. It was dinner time when we arrived, and all the private rooms were full. It was the busy time for serving dishes, so in order to stagger us, we I sat down to eat around 8:30 and ordered two delicacies that were rated by previous guests: spicy fish (very few bones and soft), pickled cabbage and bean soup (just the right acidity), and something of my own choice. Stir-fried water spinach, cold preserved eggs, hot glutinous rice cakes, and the boss also gave us a plate of fried fish (a surprise). All the dishes were unanimously delicious. I thought we wouldn't be able to finish eating so much at this time of night (because of the portion size) It was enough), but who would have thought that except for the soup, which had a little bit left, all the rest were finished... Hahaha... Sure enough, the food prepared by the chef is different... Before departure the next day, I still ordered 5 bowls of tomato 🍅 egg noodles, which were unanimously recommended by the guests’ comments on the platform, and set off with a delicious meal... which gave this journey a perfect end! If I have the opportunity to go to Gulin County again in the future, I will definitely come again! I hope the boss’s business is booming! It gets bigger and bigger! Make a fortune! ! Final addition: The only regret is that there are too few accommodation rooms. At present, I saw that several guests did not book a room in the evening. They just chose other accommodations after a delicious meal. However, I heard from the boss that they are gradually expanding the rooms. Medium...so looking forward to more good things...

It was almost 8 o'clock when I arrived. I didn't expect the boss to make a loving meal for us. When I left, I forgot to bring everything. The boss contacted us in time, but because we were in a hurry, we didn't plan to go back to pick it up, and said intimately to send me a courier back. The rooms are newly renovated with no unpleasant odors, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the giant screen projector is perfect for binge-watching. The surrounding riverside walkway is picturesque, perfect for an evening stroll and taking photos. Summer temperatures hover between 18°C–25°C (64°F–77°F)—no AC needed, even in August. The air is so clean it almost tastes sweet. 🛏 The Room: Waking Up Inside a Painting: I booked a family room, and the massive wraparound balcony was the real showstopper. Every morning, I'd step out to see clouds rolling through the valley below, with the sunrise painting the ridges in gold and pink. Evenings were just as magical—sunsets that turned the sky into a slow-burning fire. The room itself was modern and well-thought-out: smart controls, excellent water pressure, a spacious walk-in shower, and that crisp mountain chill seeping in at night. It feels less like a chain hotel and more like a quiet gallery in the clouds. --- 💁 Service & Amenities: Warmth in Every Detail From check-in to check-out, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome. Housekeeping was thorough and unobtrusive. There's also a small gym, a quiet reading lounge, and a kids' play area—so it works for couples, solo travelers, and families alike. If that bothers you, ask for an upper floor when booking. --- Final Verdict: These 3 nights felt like a full system reboot. If you're looking for a summer getaway that's actually cool, quiet, and surrounded by nothing but green peaks and drifting clouds—Luo Han Lin Hotel is worth every mile of the drive up. I left with a full camera roll, clear lungs, and a much calmer mind. 👉 Would I go back? Yes, Without hesitation.

The hotel was very clean, with complete facilities. Hot water came out quickly; when I went out around 9 AM, hot water was immediately available. The air conditioning worked very well. The parking lot in front was very large and close to the hotel. The windows were large and clean, providing good natural light and offering beautiful views of the mountains and water behind, creating a relaxing vacation atmosphere. It was quiet at night, and the soundproofing in the rooms was excellent. Overall, I recommend it.
