Travelodge Newport Isle of Wight

Lovely clean & fresh rooms. Really enjoyed my one night’s stay. Honestly not a speck of dirt or dust - immaculate bathroom. Staff SO friendly and helpful - notably Kieran and Beth. Many thanks. I will definitely be back! Kettle, 2 mugs - tea and coffee available in the room if you wanted it. Tasteful colour scheme too - liked the lighting! Plenty of charging points - perfect.

We have had a fantastic stay here upon arrival Christina was very welcoming and helpful she even printed out a nap of the local area, she also served us our evening meal which was delicious and came very quickly. The breakfast was also delicious the staff were very friendly and helpful thank you for an enjoyable breakfast experience David, Kieran, Claire & Kerry! I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting the Isle of Wight it is spotlessly clean, lovely rooms, delicious food and very helpful staff. Will definitely visit again!

The hitel is situated 10mins walking distance from Newport bus station There are various shops nearby including a big sainsbury The rooms are clean and there s kettle to have some hot tea and coffee Good for short stays if u plan to only sleep at nights and roam Isle of Wight during the day time

Beds are comfy room is lovely. The breakfast is lovely and fresh and staff are brilliant. Doreen, Chrissy, Kieran, Beth, Ruby, Julie and David are so nice and friendly and honestly cannot do enough for you while you are staying. They have iron, ironing boards, hairdryers and fans and if needed extra towels and pillows. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to visit them again. Thank you

Very convenient for my work in Newport. Chrissie and Doreen and all of the staff couldn't do enough to help me feel welcome and comfortable.

We were looking for somewhere for a 4 day stay to visit friends and Travelodge Newport I.O.W. ticks all the boxes !!

Had a fantastic stay here, the cooked breakfast is amazing and Chrissy was a very welcoming host and looked after all my needs... a great place to stay in Newport as really close to the High Street and a short walk to the quay, highly recommended, thank you so much... Dave

This is a very clean, well run, very conveniently located and surprisingly quiet hotel with spacious rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. Special thanks to Chrissy for being attentive and always welcoming. Shout out to Doreen with her killer tapas dishes. David was very responsive and helpful with the many requests I had. Sophie as well is very friendly. Looking forward to my next stay here when I return to the Island especially as the sun is coming out.

Lovely friendly staff & always willing to help.Comfy clean hotel and rooms. A small issue from a recent previous visit had been attended to. Good location near to, but on, main street so convenient but not as noisy as some.Nicely done meals in the small cafe - we had good sized dinners, ice creams and hot drinks. Didn't have the breakfast but went to check it out one morning - really nice looking basic cooked breakfast options , would eat next time and would stay here again. Newport is a good central location for exploring the IOW and the public transport hub IOW has great bus services) and the Travelodge is well placed at the end of the small town for walking round. Good eating pubs, cafes and clothes shops too.
