Koduchi No Yado Tsurukamedaikichi

Beautifully decorated place, very clean. Onsen with views. Only a few steps away from the bus stop so location isn't too bad either.

We loved the hotel. Great location, great atmosphere and wonderful room. The room was with a private onsen  which is a must  With small kids. The down side was breakfast - only Japanese traditional food which isn’t eatable for 6 year old western kids.

Amazing hotel next to the river. Big room, friendly staff, onsen, great location. We loved this place!

I stayed here for two nights with my wife frim Australia. A beautiful ryokan next to the nikko shrine and river. We enjoyed the stay. Only downside, maybe not to others, was the serving staff was not japanese which can be a benefit in English communication but I was expecting authentic Japanese hospitality more.

We had a great time in Nikko. The hotel is clean, very refined, rooms are great and the sentō is just amazing!

To my surprise, many of the hotel staff spoke English, which greatly facilitated communication. Considering the price I paid, the service and food quality were excellent. Impeccable.

I've lost.my bag in the bus when I arrived at the hotel. I immediately seek the hotel staffs for help. They were very helpful and making calls to the places that I've may have left it. Train station, bus company. Lastly, was very lucky to have found it back. Someone picked up and passed it to the bus driver. In Japan, there's always a chance of finding back lost item. It's very safe.

Great place to stay in Nikko in terms of comfort, service and location. Enjoyed our stay thoroughly.
