We had an amazing time. The resort was clean and the food was delicious. There was always something to eat. It’s in a great location with a beautiful beach. They were welcoming to my family and loved my toddler niece (who became a celebrity at the resort). The alcohol was plentiful and the bartenders were happy to customise my drinks. This is my second time going and I highly recommend it as a low cost all inclusive resort.

Sorry for the long review but there is a lot to say to try to counteract the numerous poor reviews. Not discrediting peoples experiences but we went anyway with low expectations as only 3 star. Had a deluxe room with 2 double beds and ocean view. Very good size room, lap top safe and very comfy beds and pillows. A real bonus was sufficient coat hangers, not to be sneezed at in my experience. In room refrigerator. A couple of small water bottles every day but as a "green" person just used the water dispenser to fill my water bottle (near the shop). Well done hotel for that, much appreciated. Food was as expected for a 3 star in the buffet however, the a la carte restaurant had very good food and service, has to be booked so do that as soon as you arrive. Beach towels are available for a rather large deposit compared to other hotels, disappointed with the quality as they were similar to a tea towel in texture. Drinks were adequate eg only 10 cocktails all based on rum or vodka, I have a photo of the menu, the management claimed 16 but no evidence at the bar for that? Service at the bar was really good despite being short staffed sometimes. That said the white and rose were very drinkable, not so much the red. At breakfast, really nice orange juice and a good selection of teas. Good choices for breakfast food. Only problem was size of cups outside meal times where tiny paper cups were available. No problems finding a lounger but cushions were in short supply, a customer complained and suddenly more were supplied - come on management its not hard to please your customers - you could remove the cushions overnight like other hotels do. You can step out right onto the beach which is lovely but as others have said sea very rough - global warming? No sea**** despite the rough seas?? Managed to snorkel at Pebbles beach, bus ride away and Dover beach a 20 minute walk away. Turtles everywhere! Entertainment most nights, some great and some so so. Desiree is amazing, did wood burning activity with her that resulted in a souvenir. Most staff great but some really quite openly miserable that made me wonder about the manager?? Give this hotel a chance.

Absolutely wonderful. My family and I have stayed at the Barbados Beach Club 3 times now and loved it every time. We were made to feel so welcome on arrival and everyone working there was kind and helpful. The food is a delicious buffet with plenty to suit all and an option to sit in the dining room or dine outside by pool, both of which we enjoyed. Our room was great and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This hotel is excellent value for money and the staff work extremely hard to make you feel at home and welcome. The beach is perfectly located right at the front of the grounds and is equipped with sun beds and umbrellas, it’s lovely. We have always enjoyed the entertainment provided; particularly some excellent singers and musicians. In all, I can’t fault the place and we will be back for sure. I highly recommend for a family friendly all inclusive hotel in the Caribbean that is good value for money.

Dated hotel but substantial stay. The views of the beach was idyllic and a grest location. The staff on the whole were friendly especially the Reception staff, bar staff and housekeeping. The older, taller housekeeper who tended our room was very professional. Some of the younger housekeepers could benefit from some mentoring from her. I pride myself on professionalism no matter how many stars is given to a hotel. The restaurant matriarch's would benefit from social communication, upskilling their management lead and etiquette skills. This would better improve the younger, less experienced members staff. The birds wasn't the problem in the main restaurant, it was how quickly staff responded to ensure food hygiene and cleanliness was upheld throughout the service. This includes clearing the empty plates and spot checking the food is covered properly especially the serving equipments. I hope this is helpful to the establishment.

e went on a 2 week cruise and stay with Tui, the cruise was fine and we transferred to the Barbados Beach Club for our 2nd week. Hotel was a bit tired but not terrible and we had a great room by the pool, food was very good, only one barman on duty at the one bar all night, staff were a bit miserable and almost rude, but hotel had a great location right on the beach. But this is why the hotel gets a poor score, if you want towels they take a deposit on your card, they assure you nothing will be taken from your account as long as towels are handed back in, we handed our back in only to find when we got home that they had taken the money, dispite two Emails I have had no reply. So watch out their are thieves about

- Pool towels are available with a deposit to pay - Beds are comfortable with lots of pillows - 2 bottles of water per day in the room, however bring your water bottles and fill them up using the machine near the gift shop - Food is limited but I always found something nice to eat and enjoyed the food, especially the cake. - Sea was way too rough to snorkel in at the hotel but we travelled to Pebbles beach and swam in the sea and saw turtles there. - There is yoga twice a week which was lovely. - There is limited cushions for the poolside sunbeds but we managed to get them when we sat by the pool, at the end of our holiday the hotel had bought more. - More umbrellas on the beach. - Fridge in room but didn’t use it. - We found out about an app called Pick up, acts like uber but for Barbados, was very useful and we found it cheaper. - Drinks were plentiful and we never had to wait very long. - Tried the reef restauarat which you need to book on two occasions whilst we stayed and was pleased with the food and service. - Air-conditioning was fine for us but we didn’t turn it on much. - The hotel was very clean and most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Enjoyed our stay here. Initially found some staff rude and abrupt but have learnt that this is the culture in some areas of service. On the whole the hotel serves its purpose, rooms clean and comfortable, food very nice and location is fantastic. Worth a visit

Wow i have just read some of the 1 &2 ratings reviews and wonder why they are being so negative. I have just returned from staying in this hotel yes it does need updating but for a 3 star hotel you get everything you need. The room was large and comfortable , it was cleaned every day bins emptied , beds made and fresh towels, there is also a fridge in the room with 2 bottles of water left every day. The food was lovely and there was plenty of choice, a different menu every day yes the birds flying in the restaurant were a bit of a pain but the staff tried hard to keep them out. They had activities / music every day and entertainment every evening , if you wanted to book a trip like i did the lovely reception staff were only too pleased to book it for you nothing was to much trouble. I would stay there again. . For those thinking of booking this is a 3* hotel if you want better then pay more for a 4* or 5*
