It is located quite central to everything, but it is a long, windy road to reach the resort from the main road. The resort is beautiful but dated. It is surrounded by lush green, but I think we were the only room occupied there.

Beautiful, well-maintained and spacious cottages amidst winter flora. A good get away from the rest of the world. Wake up to the chirping of birds and scent of the trees.

The accommodation is beautiful. The view is 10/10, no deductions. But I deducted points because there was a little bit of bird droppings on the edge of the room's balcony.

The hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly.
About 15 minutes from Khao Yai Park by car, near restaurants by car.
Only downside: extremely noisy air conditioning.

We stayed at Liliwalai Resort for a few nights as part of an organized birding holiday. Although the grounds are beautiful and well kept my honest rating would be 3.5 for the room itself. It was in a row of rooms and was quite average in size and amenities. Although without much of a view to anything it served our basic needs. It appears the wooden Thai houses located farther from the restaurant would be a better room choice than the attached rows of rooms. The restaurant meals were generally well prepared however staff were at times a bit confused/slow to serve us. The WiFi was some of the fastest we experienced in our travels throughout the country. There is a pool but we didn't make use of it. Overall, a nice resort.
