Hôtel Henriette

Super clean and nice.

I hesitate to write this review, only because the word will be out as to the hidden gem that is the Hotel Henriette. Based on the other reviews, it seems I’m not the only one that absolutely loves this hotel and the staff. I travelled alone to Paris to meet my family 2 days later. When I entered my compact room 66, I flung open the window and there was the city. I felt like a young woman living in Paris. If you are an artist, creative or single traveller, this is the place for you. The hotel is located in the 5th arr., which is quiet and yet walking distance to many things. There is a charming indoor courtyard and the breakfast is an ideal way to start your day. This is a small hotel with small rooms, yet all the necessities are there. The lift is very tiny and quaint, so one at a time is best. Most profoundly are the staff who are friendly and willing to do all possible to make your stay a memorable one. I highly recommend this hotel and will be back as often as possible.

For my first trip to Paris, solo, I researched a lot and ended up in the perfect hotel in the perfect neighborhood for me! As I had an early arrival, To get my bearings I walked to Notre-Dame, by way of Rue Mouffetard (a street that made all of my food and drink dreams come true ... I walked up and down the street at least twice a day, every day of my six day stay, eating my pastry of choice every morning in front of Saint-Etienne du Mont and multiple times crepes at Crêperie Pinocchio )! When I was able to check in, I was met with a perfect room for my stay! The staff was wonderful, accepted my limited French speaking abilities and helped me in English when I needed help! I didn't get a chance to try all of the Hotel's restaurant recommendations, but, of those that I did, I wish they were where I lived, namely Il Etait un Square (Tar Tar, excellent) and Le Vieux Bistro (I'm still eating my meal in my memories, French Onion Soup, Beef Bourguignon, Apple Tarte Tatin) - food and staff, excellent! I didn't take advantage of the Hotel breakfast as there were too many boulangeries for a boulangerie lover (a few of my favorites Boulangerie Akiko et Philippe Bruere and Le Fournil de Mouffetard)! What I'm trying to say is the Hotel is wonderful, the staff is wonderful, the neighborhood is wonderful and if I'm lucky enough to find myself in Paris again, I'll be staying here again!

We usually stay in 4 star hotels and I was a little bit nervous as to what we’d experience. My hesitation was completely unfounded. Rooms were spotless, individually styled. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Front desk staffed 24/7 with really friendly people happy to provide advice about local area, transport etc. the metro station Les Gobelins was a 2 minute walk, tops. Each afternoon / night when we returned to room there was a plate of pastries in the lobby to help yourself ( our kids partook each night) and a herbal tea in a thermos. We booked directly on their website and got rooms and bedding config we requested ( think we also got one room upgraded for free). There’s a reason this place is so highly rated on trip advisor folks. The staff at the front desk get to know you and welcome you, you don’t feel like just another customer checking in to just another room.

Really lovely small hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. Our room was small but really comfortable and, having stayed in Paris before, was fantastic value for money. We have paid a lot more for less in Paris previously. We also loved the location. It’s on a quiet street but only a minutes walk from the Metro with some great local restaurants. Really highly recommended and we will be back!
