Jianshui Hotels with Parking

Facilities: New, especially the water heater in the room, which I really appreciated. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Photogenic, although we're not good at taking pictures. Just relaxing in the courtyard was nice. Service: Superb, very friendly. They even helped with our luggage at the station. It was truly better than I expected. I immediately extended my stay the next day. It's very close to the Seven-Arch Bridge, just a few minutes' walk. The guesthouse is right next to Daoli Park, which was still beautiful even though the rapeseed flowers were past their peak bloom. The rice noodles for breakfast were especially delicious. A northerner who had traveled all the way from Xishuangbanna ate them for two days straight, telling his companion he never wanted to hear rice noodles again! 😂 The bone broth and chili oil were incredibly fragrant. We enjoyed a walk in the park after breakfast to digest. 😁 During the day, you can eat at Jianlong (the sign is in traditional Chinese characters) next to the Qikongqiao parking lot. The food is light and delicious; if you prefer stronger flavors, just tell the owner. For those arriving by public transport, you won't be bored without a car. You can rent electric bikes to catch the train (there are shared electric bikes near the RV campsite's restrooms, but the seats are small; we found the nearest rental shop on the map and called the owner, who will tell you where the bikes are). It's a ten-minute ride (there are ancient bridges along the way, so you can enjoy the scenery). The area to Xianghui Station is very photogenic, and the fields next to the station are also quite charming. Inside the station, there are delicious cakes (super chocolate!), freshly baked pineapple buns with pineapple, and freshly baked Litsea cubeba beef pizza – super delicious! Two semi-retired people in their 30s were very satisfied in Daoli. We'll be back in a couple of days.

Very satisfied with the homestay, the front desk was very enthusiastic to take us in. It was a lady who also helped us carry our luggage. When we left, we watched us drive out safely. The service was in place. There was a fruit plate every day. Auntie saw that we liked to eat sunshine roses. We gave it to us, and the room was satisfied and quiet. Sleep well.

I booked Fanqi B&B after reading online reviews. On the morning of the day I submitted the order, I received a call from the store telling me about the nearby parking lot. I arrived at the B&B that night and found that the small front door was a different world from the inside. The four-entry courtyard has a history of a hundred years. The store owner was very enthusiastic and upgraded our room and introduced the historical story of the courtyard. He also provided us with scenic spots and food guides for visiting Jianshui. The room and bathroom were also very clean, the hot water temperature was very high, the breakfast was very rich and provided according to our requirements. The B&B also provided free Hanfu for us to take photos and barbecue around the stove. Traveling off-peak, there are not many tourists. We found the feeling of home in Fanqi, which made us start a pleasant journey

I'm a lazy person who rarely writes reviews, but this time I was deeply moved by the owner and his family. Even the cleaning lady was so friendly and lovely. It truly revitalized my solo trip to Jianshui. The hotel is perfectly located, away from the hustle and bustle, yet very close to the train station and the ancient city—just over a hundred meters away. There are many traditional rice noodle shops just outside the door, so you can leisurely fill your stomach before heading out to explore. When I was going to and from the station, the owner drove a tricycle to the intersection to pick me up, worried about the inconvenience of lugging my luggage, even though it was only a few steps away. In the morning, when they saw me in the room, they asked if I wanted breakfast (my reservation didn't include it). I had already eaten, but the owner insisted on giving me an egg for protein and a box of brown sugar before I left. The ladies said they'd come back next year, and I replied, ”I'll be back in two months!” ❤️ I'm from the north, and this family is so gentle and polite. The entire inn is elegant and grand. The two-story courtyard is surrounded by bougainvillea, where you can swing on the swings, watch the moon, drink tea, and chat—it's so relaxing. The interior is on par with a four-star hotel in the city, with separate wet and dry areas, disposable towels, and brand-new hard and soft furnishings. The air is also very airy. I don't like old, dingy hotels, so this truly felt like home! Thank you again to the owner for his thoughtful hospitality. He booked me a train ticket in the middle of the night, provided me with food, drinks, and hairbands, and offered travel advice along the way. Please keep driving! I'll be back with friends. I couldn't book the same room type for two consecutive nights, so I had to book different room types for each night. The difference between the 'pool view' room and the 'Xiang Tang' room is that one has an openable window and the other doesn't. I stayed in the pool view room on the first night and it wasn't noisy at all. However, my experience in the 'Xiang Tang' room on the second night wasn't as good. The restaurant is right downstairs, and even at 10 or almost 11 PM, there were still children making noise on the platform. Closing the window helped a bit. The cleanliness wasn't great either; there were a lot of hairs on the bathroom floor. I hope they pay more attention to this. Everything else was pretty good. At least I didn't experience any power outages or room maintenance issues. They also provide toiletries for children.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The design is minimalist yet grand, completely avoiding that old-fashioned feel. It’s very aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to stay in. From the moment you step into the lobby, you're greeted with a refreshing, clean, and well-organized space, showing the hotel's dedication to hygiene. While the in-room amenities might not be the most luxurious, they are certainly not outdated; everything is well-maintained and in perfect order. What impressed me most was the dry-wet separation in the bathroom – it's incredibly practical. Showering and washing up can happen simultaneously without interference, keeping the space dry. It's a really thoughtful touch. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay, and I highly recommend it!

Amazing.Words aren't enough to describe how grateful I am to have come to Jianshui and stayed at this hostel. Super clean, comfortable bed and location. All amenities you require are provided. I slept so well every night and conveniently walked or took the public bus to further sights. Not only the facilities are excellent, but the vibe created by the owner and the fellow travellers was so memorable and unique. We had so much fun and happy moments just chatting in the court yard, sharing our experiences and life in general. Everyone was so friendly and generous to share and give tips on everything to see and do This is not just a hostel but a place I will remember and come back often. Already missing the hostel and friends I made. PS: To owner and fellow travellers, Thank you so much for the hospitality and kindness. I learnt so much from this trip and will see you all soon. Awesome, the owner is very nice! Feel at home~ It is indeed the second-ranked B&B. The first place is too expensive and not very cost-effective~ I won’t say much else. The location here is excellent, just near the North Gate. If you want to eat barbecue, you will be killed. Everything is available. They are also very elegant. The entire yard is decorated in a retro and elegant style, and the furniture and decorations are also very new. The most important thing is the yard, it's so comfortable.

It's a hostel with a very homely environment. The manager will invite you to drink tea with him, the courtyard is a very chill area to hang out in and even spend all day to the sound of flowing water and surrounded by plants. There is a kitchen available too, and the manager brings water from the well daily for the use of the guests. The dorm was comfortable and the lower beds have curtains but the upper ones don't. The manager sometimes organises events for the guests, such as the time when we went picking mushrooms and visited a local market from where we bought more mushrooms which were cooked for dinner, all at a very good price. The location is excellent, just 1 minute walking to the south gate of the ancient city. I will not hesitate to stay here again when I come back to Jianshui.

This place has a very unique and charming style that makes it stand out from ordinary accommodations. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the design gives the property a lot of character. One of its biggest advantages is the location. It is extremely convenient, being just a short walk from the Confucius Temple and the main street, where you can find plenty of shops, restaurants, and attractions. The location is truly excellent and highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. The owner is an exceptionally kind, friendly, and welcoming person. He is always smiling, polite, and ready to help whenever needed. During my stay, he even helped me wash my clothes, which I greatly appreciated. His hospitality made a very positive impression on me. The cleanliness was generally good, although there are a few areas where some extra attention could further improve the guest experience. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and felt genuinely welcomed. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to other travelers, especially those looking for a great location and warm, personal hospitality.
