The owner is very talkative, easygoing, and friendly, making the experience very relaxed and comfortable. The guesthouse has car wash facilities, offering free car washes for those driving, which is very thoughtful. The guesthouse also has its own restaurant where you can enjoy authentic local cuisine; the food is delicious and flavorful, and the breakfast is well-balanced and nutritious. The staff are attentive and considerate throughout the stay. Most commendable is the owner's long-standing commitment to providing shuttle service to and from the scenic area, saving a lot of trouble. With its convenient one-stop service for food, accommodation, and transportation, and attention to detail, ”Those Bygone Years” (Qicai Danxia Branch) is a very cost-effective place to stay when visiting Qicai Danxia. Highly recommended for those driving.

The staff were very welcoming, and the hotel wasn't crowded when I visited. The room provided disposable towels, bath towels, and slippers, and the cleanliness was acceptable. There were parking spaces and three charging stations right outside the hotel, which was very convenient. The only downside was the very simple breakfast; since there weren't many people, they prepared very little – just two dishes, porridge, steamed buns, and eggs.

The room was large and clean, and although it's a guesthouse, it even has an elevator – great! It's very close to the West Gate, just over a kilometer away by car. There weren't many shops nearby during the Chinese New Year holiday, so we ate at the guesthouse.

I spent one night at this hotel and was absolutely thrilled. The location is unbeatable: the north gate of the Danxia Scenic Spot is only about a 10-minute walk away. There are also plenty of restaurants, souvenir shops, and small supermarkets in the immediate vicinity, all within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is very modern, well-maintained, and clean. My room was a real highlight – very spacious, stylishly furnished, and equipped with a huge shower. It offered many amenities, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I especially enjoyed the view of the mountains from my window! A big thank you to the staff as well: everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Anyone planning a visit to the Danxia Scenic Spot will find the perfect accommodation here. I would definitely stay here again!

This was the most surprising and also the cheapest hotel of my Qinghai-Gansu trip. I originally planned to stay in Zhangye, but I was so tired from traveling all day that I just wanted to find a place near the sights and rest immediately after exploring. The pictures online looked decent, but the room was unexpectedly spacious! What really impressed me was the amazing service from the owner and his wife! This was the best night's sleep I had on the entire trip! This positive review is specifically for the owner and his wife.

This hotel is great! It's very clean and the smart speaker makes everything super convenient. The hotel itself is new with excellent facilities and a lovely environment. It's close to the scenic area, just a ten-minute walk away. The service is incredibly warm and enthusiastic, and the owner is always ready to help with anything. Highly recommend it to everyone!

I contacted Chunyu Hotel. The boss gave me a very kind feeling. Even if there may be no listings, I added my WeChat, and provided me with a lot of important strategies for this trip, so that I firmly chose Chunyu Hotel in advance. Until I checked in, friends and children were very satisfied after arriving at the scene. The hotel is very close to the scenic area entrance, and there's plenty of parking, which is great for self-driving. The staff are friendly and responsive, and it's very quiet, perfect for a good rest. There are lots of restaurants nearby, so you have plenty of choices. The hotel is located in Danxiakou Town, a 5-minute drive from the Colorful Danxia. The town offers stunning scenery, a comprehensive range of dining, entertainment, and recreational facilities at affordable prices. There are numerous recreational facilities, highly recommended for photo opportunities, and a fantastic performance, ”Return to Zhangye,” is also on site. The hotel is situated in a small courtyard, offering a unique style and breathtaking views. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was attentive. Any requests were promptly addressed. It was a very satisfying stay and highly recommended.
