"This is the biggest room on the Qinghai-Gansu loop, bar none. It's so huge you could do square dancing in it, haha! The hotel even has a night market with food delivered right to your door, and laundry service that comes to your room. The hotel itself is beautiful and super close to the scenic area. The best part is there's an amazing fish restaurant nearby; we stayed one night and ate there twice!"

"The room was clean and tidy, equipped with an elevator and an AI assistant. It's super convenient, just a 10-minute walk to the attractions. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, even recommending the best times to visit attractions and different viewpoints for sunrise and sunset. They greeted us at the door to help with our luggage and gave us a warm send-off when we left."

"This place is a must for staying near the Colourful Danxia. It is just a 5 minute walk away. The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful. Although the yurt has no AC, it does have a fan so the temperature is ok at night during summer. Bathroom and laundry facilities are also good. Breakfast and dinner options are very nice. An amazing place to stay"

His hospitality didn’t stop there—he kindly assisted us in booking tickets for a local show and even drove us there himself, which made our trip so much more convenient and enjoyable. The room was spotless, one of the cleanest we’ve stayed in, and it was clear that great care is taken to maintain high standards. We also really appreciated the free laundry service, which was incredibly helpful during our travels. The location is perfect—just a short walking distance to the west entrance of the Danxia park, making it easy to explore. Right across the hotel is a fantastic restaurant, so finding great food was effortless. To top it all off, the owner even prepared thoughtful departing gifts for us, which was such a warm and memorable touch. His kindness and attentiveness truly set this place apart. If you’re visiting the area, this hotel is an outstanding choice."

"The hygiene was quite poor, and the pipes were leaking. The food was expensive; for dinner, the 'Maoxuewang' (blood curd and tripe dish) had fake tripe and fake blood curd. I wouldn't recommend eating here. Breakfast was a dry steamed bun and a bowl of watery porridge that seemed like it had been frozen and just reheated. Given the high price of the food, they really need to improve their culinary and hospitality services."

"Found bugs in the room, which was quite a shock. The owner's response was incredibly dismissive. Isn't cleanliness a basic requirement, especially when the price isn't cheap? The Danxia mountains are stunning, but the accommodation options nearby are truly disappointing."

"My trip to Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park was a complete disaster – I blindly chose the Shiguang Manji Hotel! The location is superb, just a 7-minute walk to the park entrance and a mere 2-minute drive. No need to rush to catch the sunrise or sunset, and the Danxia scenery is breathtaking after rain. It made traveling so much easier. The room was impeccably clean. Given the dry climate of Northwest China, a Xiaomi humidifier made the room much more comfortable. The mattress and pillows were Mengbaihe zero-pressure mattresses, providing ultimate relaxation and a good night's sleep after a long day. The entire room is equipped with Xiao Ai smart control, allowing you to control lights and temperature simply by voice – a truly high-tech experience. The hotel was incredibly thoughtful. Upon check-in, they offered authentic Gansu Sanpaotai tea and local seasonal apricots. They were warm and welcoming, patiently explaining the park's routes and tips for avoiding tourist pitfalls, and providing free shuttle service. The overall decor has a gentle and healing atmosphere, and the soft furnishings are very thoughtfully arranged. Although the hard furnishings in Northwest China are not extremely exquisite, all facilities are complete, full of details, and the service is sincere and attentive. It is a great value for money and the first choice when visiting Danxia. I will stay here again next time I come to Zhangye!"

"The hotel is very close to the Danxia Scenic Area. It was late after we finished exploring the area, so it was super convenient to get to the hotel. There's parking available right downstairs. The staff were really welcoming and even helped us with our luggage without us asking. I was traveling with two kids, and the front desk thoughtfully gave us an extra pair of slippers and an additional set of disposable towels and bath towels. These small details really showed how considerate they were. The room's curtains and lighting were smart, which was very convenient to use. The only slight downside was that breakfast was at a nearby diner and was a bit simple."
