An Unforgettable Stay at The Sanchaya Bintan – A True Paradise! Our recent vacation at The Sanchaya, Bintan was nothing short of fantastic and excellent. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt the touch of luxury and care that defines this exquisite resort. A special mention must go to the superb team led by Greg Williams, whose attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident throughout our stay. Under his leadership, everything ran seamlessly, and every guest was treated with exceptional hospitality. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Yani from Guest Relations, who ensured our every need was anticipated and met with grace and professionalism. Her warm demeanor and thoughtful gestures truly made us feel at home. A huge appreciation as well to Joanne from the F&B team, whose impeccable service and cheerful personality enhanced every dining experience. She made each meal a pleasure, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. And of course, our sincere thanks to Chef Budi, whose culinary creations were absolutely divine. Each dish was a masterpiece – a perfect blend of flavors, presentation, and freshness. He made dining at The Sanchaya not just a meal, but a memorable experience. Our stay at Said Beach House was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff truly went above and beyond for us – not just doing the bare minimum, but consistently making the extra effort to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Their warmth, attentiveness, genuine hospitality and thoughtfulness really made the experience so much more special, and it's honestly what stood out to us the most. The food was also great and always prepared on time... everything was seamless and well-organised throughout our stay! The villa itself was very cozy, well-kept and exceptionally clean. It was a comfortable space to come back to after a long day of activities. Just a small tip: do remember to keep the doors closed to prevent insects or mosquitoes from entering. Speaking of that, Sadi Beach House is definitely a place where you will feel very connected to nature. You may occasionally come across insects or lizards (or even stray cats!), but it really ads to the overall experience rather than taking away from it – it's all part of the charm. The location was perfect for us. While amenities like minimarts may be a little further out, it meant that the area was incredibly quiet and peaceful, especially at night. It's the ideal place if you're looking to unwind and take a break from the noise and pace of city life. Overall, we had such a lovely stay and a huge part of that was thanks to the amazing staff who made everything feel so effortless and welcoming! I would absolutely recommend Sadi Beach House to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

We had an amazing time staying at this hotel,the ambiance was very relaxing. The beach was just few steps away from the hotel itself. The sand is white and really fine,perfect for strolling or just sitting down to watch the sunset. Hotel staffs are all polite and accommodating,especially at the breakfast buffet. Room was clean and homey. Complete with all cook wares. We prettty much had a great time!

The free shuttle from the ferry to the resort was super smooth. We got a great fruit juice and a warm welcome from the front desk. Lots of free activities there too. I was really looking forward to the dance and aqua dance, but after waiting in the lobby, we found out there wouldn't be a class that day. It would've been nice if they'd put up a notice so we didn't wait for nothing. Then we did other stuff like rock painting, animal education, and tie-dye tote bags, which was awesome. I even chatted with Mizhelle as she passed our dried tie dye the next morning while she did my henna – such a happy person! The room was pretty clean and roomy. The AC worked great, and they even gave us a cute, big woven bag to use. I brought earplugs because reviews said you could hear people outside. But all we heard were buggies, crickets, and frogs, so it was all good. Our stay included daily breakfast, and the hospitality was amazing. They greeted us by name, which made us feel special. The staff even remembered our names when we just walked by them – effort 10/10! We did the BBQ, which was an 8/10. It was a cozy dinner setup. Unfortunately, there were tons of mosquitoes feasting on us while we BBQ'd and ate, even with repellent on. The staff forgot the oil spreader, so we couldn't cook for a bit. But the night was still a great experience for us both. Definitely a memorable vacation. I just wish the lagoon stayed open longer than 6 pm.

We have found this beautiful place on our 2 days dad/son bicycle tour through Western Bintan. We loved the ample, farm type camp that is in between the hills and savannahs with the reddish coloured earth and evergreen palm trees of Bintan. The reception area is already oozing openness and friendliness, and you check in a very pleasant and welcoming world. The owner has established this is as a sustainable youth training and learning center, at the same time offering splendid and well-integrated guest activities for families, kids, and groups. We stayed in one of the clamping houses adjacent to one of the small and relaxing lakes, and my 5y son loved every inch of it. The A/C motor works in the background, the bathroom is bigger than in any of the Lagoi resorts we have been so far. The food is very deliciously mildly spicy, the coffee machine is Italian, the breakfast offers a choice of two menues which makes it easy not to choose wrong. The best part is the always friendly and supporting staff. Yanu was very supportive when engineering a kite and helped us making it fly (even outside his shift). The creative center is definitely worth a visit. As natural bicyclists, we loved the empty and small paved roads around the Camp, so we even had a wonderful time biking down to the Blue Lagoon (1hour). From the Ferry Station TM it is a 2h bicycle trip with a few stops in the road (try to avoid the heat). The Bintan Ferry takes bikes for transport, so do 6-seater cabbies in Singapore. I can strongly recommend this place for any escape plans from the big city and for all nature fans.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this villa in Bintan! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured every detail of our stay was perfect. The villa itself was stunning—beautifully maintained, spacious, clean, and offering breathtaking views that made our vacation truly unforgettable. What made our experience even more special was how the team went above and beyond to celebrate my birthday. They surprised me with thoughtful decorations and a lovely birthday arrangement that made the day extra memorable. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality exceeded all our expectations. The facilities were excellent, the food was delicious, and the peaceful atmosphere provided the perfect escape from the city. Every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Thank you for making my birthday celebration and our stay so special. We left with wonderful memories and cannot wait to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable getaway in Bintan!

The hotel is part of a bigger resort property. The hotel location is good and the staff service attitude is great. However, the quality of the foods served in the restaurants are not good. The goods sold in the Happy Marts inside the resort property are extremely overpriced which are 3 to 4 times more expensive than in Singapore. Further, the gym in the Recreation Centre has a very strong mouldy smell. The quality of the SPA is not good. The technique of the masseurs should be improved. Also, the air-conditioner in the massage room is broken. Not worth to have any SPA treatment there.

Stayed in the private pool ocean view villa, and it was one of the best villas I’ve ever visited! 😍 The villa itself was beautiful: * 🚽 Japanese/Korean heated toilet * 🚿 Large shower * 🛀 Large bathtub * 🪞 Couple’s sink with plenty of space * 🛏️ Big, comfortable bed The ocean is clear and unpolluted, and each villa comes with an inflatable paddle—high tide was so fun, and low tide lets you spot little fishes. It felt like a private beach —perfect for fun and amazing photos with no photo bombers.✨The pool was perfect too, cleaned daily, and the resort was very private and peaceful. 💡 If I were to share my advice 🤿 Go snorkeling! My biggest regret was not going 🥺. If the water in front of the villa is already this clear and full of fish, I can only imagine the snorkeling spots. 🐠 🍽️ The Ocean Restaurant was excellent—fresh local fish and seafood noodles for 385k IDR. I didn’t plan enough time for it 🤏🥲 but it’s seriously worth it. 💡 My advice: Stay in the ocean view villa—it’s absolutely worth it. Transport is easy to arrange, but this level of ocean view and privacy at this price is rare. ✨ The best vacations are the ones with regrets from not knowing more—so go for this. Excellent location away from the usual water parks and tourists. The resort is only an hr from the ferry terminal, for an additional fee, they can arrange pickup/drop off. The room is way better than the photos advertised. Every amenity you can think of is available including insect repellent cream. This is the place to stay if you want to be close to nature. There are a few species of kingfishers, sandpipers and swifts, raptors, etc just to name a few. The main highlight of this place is when the tide is low, you can walk out and go fish hunting, spot different species of crabs, and mudskippers, etc. Since it is a mangrove beach, inevitably there are sandflies so it's important to cover up when heading to the beach. The staff are friendly and food is amazing. I will be back again hopefully in the near future.

If you are not fussy about a ”right slap in the city” hotel, then this is a perfect hotel for you and your family! The hotel is within walking distance to Melayu Square, Tugu Pencil, Gong-gong building, Jalan Hang Tuah, the newly built coastal bridge, and the main ferry port. The neighborhood is also very friendly and littered with many little local eateries and grocery shops that are not expensive! Even if you want a very good Chinese seafood restaurant, Sei Enam is only a stone throw away! The hotel rooms are very basic and simple and the hotel is not equipped with a elevator, so if you are staying on the 4th floor, you'll have to walk up! Inside the rooms are simple appliances like TV, cable, telephone, drinking cups, bottled water, slippers, cupboards, drawers, hot and cold water showers, toothbrush with toothpaste, shampoo, small bar soaps, aircon, firm pillows, and even a nice bolster for you to hug to sleep! There are unfortunately no water billers nor coffee and tea condiments in the room. Hot and cold drinking water are on level 1 dinning area. The hotel package that I took came with a simple breakfast. The dishes are local and spicy and they are often sprinkled with peanuts. Breakfast come in wrapped up (takeaway) packages with all the pratas sauces, and/or rice in paper and plastic wrappings. Cutleries and plates are available for use. Free flow of coffee and tea with sugar (no milk nor creamer). For the price of about S$26/day, I thought that it was such a wonderful stay in this hotel! Even though it is without much amenities (because I'd rather go take my walks around town and go get a boat ride), I highly recommend this 2 star hotel for a simple and affordable stay in Tanjung Pinang!
