Amazing
MMagcheA minor communication issue prevented me from checking into my booked room, which was somewhat disappointing. However, the hotel itself was quite nice.
It's an older-style onsen ryokan (hot spring inn), and while there have been some renovations, the facilities are still rather dated. The en-suite toilet in the room was rather small.
The hotel boasts six separate private onsen baths, including the Arima Izumi Genjinyu (Golden Hot Spring), which can be reserved in advance – a very convenient feature.
Another commendable aspect is the hotel's two-meal package. The food portions were very generous and of excellent quality. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, including ice cream bars, and dinner was very plentiful, featuring Kobe beef and many other dishes. As a lady, I found it excessively abundant.

11333195****The room was slightly different from the pictures, but it didn't affect our stay. The surroundings were truly beautiful, especially the colorful autumn mountain scenery right next to the hotel. The facilities were a bit old but still clean and hygienic. The older staff members were incredibly helpful; when we requested water delivery around 6 AM, it was brought to our room immediately. However, the younger staff seemed to lack a bit. We had luggage and told the front desk that we'd wait in the lobby for about ten minutes before taking the hotel's shuttle to the Hankyu bus station. We saw the shuttle arrive and leave twice, and we didn't have time to go out and stop it. It would have been great if a doorman could have held the car for us. This caused a delay of about 20 minutes. Luckily, we had plenty of time before our scheduled bus departure, otherwise, we would have been very anxious.

AAnonymous UserThis is a quaint traditional hot spring hotel. Because it is not very large, it only has 2 indoor hot springs (but you can use the outdoor hot spring in the main building), and the indoor hot spring is relatively small. As for the food, the portions are not too big and the ingredients are not very high-end, but the taste is good. As for the service attitude, except for the female waiter I met when checking out in the morning, the others were good (the chefs were also very friendly).

GGuest UserThe Oriental Hotel Kobe is a true gem in the heart of the city. The room was beautifully designed with a perfect blend of modern comfort and classic elegance. The view of the harbor was breathtaking, and the staff’s hospitality was beyond exceptional. Every detail—from the lobby scent to the breakfast presentation—was refined and thoughtful. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in Japan.
JJanJanSnoopyThe hotel is a 10-minute walk from Sannomiya Station, but it is located in a side street, so it is very quiet at night. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hotel also provides breakfast for every guest. Although there are not many styles, it is also Pretty good!
GGuest UserWhile it's not near Sannomiya Station, the four-person female dormitory is a budget-friendly option for solo women traveling. It's a short 3-5 minute walk from Oishi Station, which is about five stops from Sannomiya. The women's dorm is safe, and the bedding is clean and comes with a cover. The room is closed during the day, so if you'd like to leave your luggage, contact the host in advance. I just left it in front and contacted them via email. It was about 30,000 won, so it was a good place to just sleep. I was the only Korean, and most of the other travelers were from other parts of Japan. The host was blunt but friendly.
GGuest UserThis is quite a traditional onsen hotel, featuring both 'Gold' and 'Silver' springs. Our one-night stay for five people, including two meals, cost a total of 5000 RMB, and we were quite happy with the value. Upon arriving at Arima Station by bus, you can call the hotel for a pick-up service. Check-in is at 3 PM, leaving plenty of time to explore the small town afterwards, but be aware that most shops close by 5 PM. The Kaiseki dinner wasn't particularly impressive, but it was definitely filling.

AAnonymous UserAlthough the facilities are old, but the hygiene level is still neat, if four people live in a small room is super crowded, recommended to add more than 1100 HKD to change a larger room, but was full room can not be replaced, 1 parking 2 meals package includes dinner kaiseki cuisine, feeling is a super ordinary meal with the group, don't have any expectations, sashimi is not fresh, beef shabu shabu is delicious, but the amount is very small, if you ask for guests, it is recommended to eat outside before staying, casually satisfy your hunger to stay for dinner. Also, a free bowl of ramen will be given in the evening to satisfy your hunger.

Very Good
LlimmaysallyMost comfortable bed that I stay in Japan for the past 2 months. Lucky we stay here for 4 nights. Bed is very firm but not hard which is good for our back. Room is very clean and bathroom is spaces that I can sit on bath tub and shower. It would be perfect if the room is slightly bigger. They charge parking for 2000¥ for night which is too high for me but the front desk young lady ( ********* girl) who was very friendly and helpful, she recommended me to park my car at nearby coin parking which cost me on 800¥ for 24 hours. Thank you so much Miss 余.
