Okayama City Hotels with Parking

The staff I came came across were all very polite and had welcoming smiles, no matter at the reception desk or the restaurant on 20/F. I enjoyed my stay here, but it felt comparable to the 3 star hotels, just slightly better especially thanks to the fabulous breakfast and location of breakfast…If hotels have half stars, i would think it’s’more of a 3.5 star hotel instead of a 4. I have a few suggestions which the hotel can look into to improve in the future. 3 Things to improve on: 1) I picked this hotel because I read other reviews saying the hotel is connected to a bridge from the Okayama station. This is true but unfortunately there were no signs in the station to guide travellers unlike another hotel like Granvia. Google suggested that I look for the west exit which I did, but I ended up being at the ground level hence had to bring big suitcase all the stairs…then I spotted the bridge and ANA crowne plaza from the street 2) cleanliness can be improved. There’s a UCC drip coffee machine in the room. I don’t drink coffee, and the box for the drip coffee selection was refilled. However I spotted a used capsule on the floor near the wall. The bin was not blocking the view, so the cleaners could’ve easily spotted the rubbish if they had been a little more careful and looked under the table when they have to clear out the rubbish bin anyway. 3) I sent a message to the hotel via TRIP.com. The message wasn’t replied promptly, as in within a few hours. Ultimately it didn’t matter anymore, I arrived at the hotel before somebody managed to reply me. Maybe it’s the system that’s problematic which may have caused a lag? Or staff only look at mails/messages when not too busy at the front desk?

Hotels in Japan are expensive on Saturdays, so I was just going to an internet cafe, but then a special sale came up, so I made a same-day reservation and stayed there. It was convenient! It's a 9-minute walk from Okayama Station, and best of all, they give you a warm nikuman (meat bun) in the morning, and you can take as much bread as you want, so I ate a lot and left early in the morning. The ice cream and drinks are free, so it's a great place to save on change while traveling! I'd love to stay here again! The building was a bit old, but it was clean.

location is close to Okayama station. hotel uses self check-in and even though the machine completed my check-in and issued me a keycard before 3pm, the staff rushed over and told me that i can only use the room from 3pm ao i had to go out and come back later. quite an unhospitable move i must say…

We needed parking for this road trip, and although the hotel had some, spaces were limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Luckily, the hotel staff provided very detailed parking information for the surrounding area, which was a huge help! (A staff member with a leg injury explained it to us very carefully.) They also have a promotion every day from 6 PM to 8 PM where you can enjoy a soft drink (they also have alcohol), so don't miss it!

It is a short distance from the west exit of Okayama Station, but acceptable because the airport buses stop at the west exit and there is no need to get on and off. However, the soundproofing is really average, facing the station, there are freight trains passing through all night, mind you may have to think about another one in the east exit. More concerned is that the air conditioner is noisy, I do not know if there is regular maintenance for repairs, the dust filter is not washed, accumulated dust. Request to change rooms successfully, air conditioning sound problems improved, is the dust screen is the same, forget.

This hotel boasts a superb location, within walking distance of Korakuen Garden and Okayama Castle, with rooms even offering direct city views. While the facilities are somewhat dated, they are well-equipped, providing a variety of shampoos and streaming TVs. The 12 PM check-out time and the underground passage directly connecting to the tram station are highly recommended; its functionality is unparalleled, and it offers exceptional value for money, making it a top choice for a relaxing trip.

It is a bit far from the station (taxi 2300 yen), and the terrain is slightly higher, so you can see Okayama Castle in the distance. Very quiet, the room is spacious and clean, and there is a public open-air bath (paid). Typical wedding/conference hotel. Breakfast was until 10:00, and when we arrived at the restaurant at 9:15, there was not much food left. When I was leaving, I bought a Bizen-yaki Momotaro at the front desk. Since each Bizen-yaki is different, I asked to pick one from two, but was refused. ...Being very polite and well-behaved does not mean having a service spirit.

The location is close to the station and there are shopping centers and marts around. But the hotel is old and messier than that It feels like a cheap motel in Korea There's a smell of mold in the bathroom, and there's a lot of mold on the shower curtain. I understand that the room is small, but it smells as soon as I enter the hotel ...

This was my first time in Okayama, and I chose this hotel. They offer free breakfast and dinner. The breakfast is a buffet with both Western and Japanese options, so you can choose what you like. For dinner, there are two choices: a rotating daily set meal or a fixed curry rice dish. The public bath is a bit small, but it's fine for about four or five people. The hotel is about an eight-minute walk from Okayama Station. There's a Don Quijote along the way, and plenty of restaurants and izakayas nearby, so there are lots of dining options. Convenience stores are also very close. The room I stayed in this time was quite spacious, even with my luggage open, there was still plenty of room. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Okayama. The only thing to be aware of is that there are about five or six steps right after you enter, which can be a bit challenging if you have heavy luggage. Otherwise, everything else was excellent.

The location is nice. Although, I got a smaller room than I saw in the pictures, I couldn’t stand up straight because the roof was so low. Also, there was a short went to another room and I had to craft a curtain because the light from the other room shined straight on my face and you can’t sleep the other way around because there’s not enough room. Furthermore, even though I left my keys for the cleaners, they just left the clean towels and sheets outside my room and told me to do it and the key was left in my door. But the showers and toilets was nice and you have privacy which is nice.
