Oamaru Hotels with Parking

The homestay is on the hill in the center of Oamaru, overlooking the entire town and the Pacific Ocean in the distance. Unfortunately, the day we stayed was cloudy and we couldn't see the sunrise. 10 minutes drive from the Penguin Center. The cooking facilities in the house are particularly complete. At first glance, it is prepared for the Chinese. Not only have seasonings, but also rice cookers. This is not available in other hotels. If you prepare a large spoon, it will be 100 points.

Because I wanted to see the little penguin 🐧, I had to stay in Omalu for one night and finally chose to punch in the first hotel on the list of this homestay. I really like the decoration style of the hotel, there are many Chinese elements in it, because the owner has stayed in different cities in China for more than 20 years. The most surprising thing is that I actually ate the only Chinese meal in the South Island Tour for breakfast. 😄👍

The beautiful house in light green is big and clean, and each bedroom is large. The only downside is that the bathroom is not together with the shower, and it is not convenient to go through the kitchen. Overall, the price is very high.

The place is spacious and the location is excellent. It is right next to the main road. After watching the little penguins, you can buy fast food nearby before returning to the hostel. The room is spacious and there are staff on duty at night. You can park at the door, which is very convenient

Chinese service, attentive and enthusiastic service, the car encountered some problems, the owner has been helping to communicate on the phone, thank you very much! The room is clean and hygienic. It has its own yard and parking is convenient. The car is parked at the door of the room. The motel is right on the main road, making it easy to get in and out. This is a very nice motel, highly recommended!

Although it is a motel, it is very clean, the kitchen is no range hood, and the oven can be used. The suite we booked was not crowded for four people. The surrounding location was convenient and the penguins were very close. There are many restaurants in about ten minutes walk. The front desk is Chinese and communication is barrier-free.

The room is very spacious and there is a kitchen. It is suitable for parents and children. The location is not bad.

Facilities: All are quite complete, but the soundproofing is so bad that you can feel the cough next to your ear, and the bed is so soft that your waist will definitely ache the next day after sleeping on it. Hygiene: It is clean, but there will be a lot of bugs flying in as soon as the door is opened. This has nothing to do with the hotel. It is mainly because there are a lot of bugs in the local area, so it is barely 4.5. Environment: There was a Chinese group on the day of check-in. Most of the members were 50-year-old southern aunts and uncles, so please imagine the whole environment on the day. Service: I really thought it was a hotel with a bit of artistic atmosphere after seeing the name, so I placed an order, but it was actually a motel. When checking in, the fat ********* girl's *** and indifferent expression were also very disgusting. After checking in, the various Chinese signs in the room that were visible to the naked eye, saying what you are not allowed to do, and if you do it, you will be fined a certain amount of money, which is also very uncomfortable. I believe that many Chinese must have done various things to cause this, but after all, they are guests, and they don't owe you anything. You can remind the motel, but there is no need to warn them proactively.

It is a short drive away from the city center. The service was great. The room is very clean with everything as we needed. Absolutely no complaints. 

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. The food in the restaurant was excellent, however the hosts let their business down by not asking us if we wanted drinks. Hospitality runs on drink profits right? The hotel was basically clean but a lot of dusting needs doing. The kitchen or whatever on the first floor needs sorting out somehow - it is a jumble and there in no information about guests use of it. The toilets upstairs ran out of toilet paper and I had to go downstairs to get a new roll. The bed was very comfortable. I just think more could be done to make the Hotel more profitable for the hosts.
