Queenstown Hotels with Parking

Nestled in a valley just 20 minutes from Queenstown, this hidden gem is a hidden gem. The hotel rooms are very fancy, and there's even an open-air bathtub, an indoor swimming pool, and a spa. The value for money is truly excellent. Highly recommended!

The lake view room was beautiful, and the free parking was very convenient. It's about a 20-minute walk to Queenstown city center. The room had two large beds, and while the facilities felt a bit dated, it's still highly recommended!

Conveniently located near the airport, it's roughly a 15-minute drive to downtown in normal traffic. Each room features a mini kitchen with basic cookware, and the bathroom includes both a washer and dryer – a hugely convenient plus.

The ground floor room had no view to speak of, and the overall experience was just okay. The service was decent, except for the middle-aged ladies who drove their Mercedes convertibles to work; they were incredibly arrogant. Also, the hotel only offers paid valet parking, and spots are very limited ($50 a day), so you'll need to find your own parking. My advice is to drive out during the day and return after 6 PM, as there's free street parking right outside the hotel, though you might have to circle a few times to find a spot. Alternatively, you can park in the adjacent Victoria Park for free for up to 4 hours.

The hotel staff were incredibly warm and provided excellent service. We arrived early, around noon, and they kindly allowed us to check in ahead of schedule. Seeing that we were elderly and didn't speak the local language, they thoughtfully printed out a hotel guide in Chinese and had a staff member escort us to our room (as the hotel is quite large). This made our check-in process so easy and we felt truly cared for. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, clean, and tidy. The location is also excellent, right by the lake, and transportation is convenient. We just took bus No. 1 from the airport, got off, and it was only about a hundred meters walk. The breakfast was good, and the restaurant had a particularly beautiful ambiance!

The location was nice, with it being only an 8 minutes walk into town centre. The kitchen was clean enough for us and so are the bathrooms. However, the wifi was not so great. We had to use our own mobile data, but if you're fine with that then it's a good place for a short stay, which was the case for us considering if you're planning to be out travelling for most of the day anyways. The staffs were all also very lovely and helpful.

The surroundings are beautiful! Transportation is incredibly convenient, with direct access via Airport Bus Route 1. It's right next to Queenstown's most bustling area, and there's a large supermarket nearby for groceries. Plus, there are two kitchens available for use. Excellent value for money. Perfect for solo travelers.

I booked this hotel because I had an early 7 AM flight. It's easily accessible from Queenstown via bus route 1, and bus route 3 takes you to a supermarket near the airport, which is super convenient. I had originally planned to walk to the airport (about a 20-minute walk), but I easily caught a taxi at 5 AM for 20 NZD. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive, especially a lady with a French accent. The front desk closes after 8 PM, but you can self-check-in/out with a key card. The room itself was well-equipped, thoughtfully laid out, clean, and tidy, with kitchen facilities and a washing machine.

We stayed at this hotel apartment for three nights during our South Island road trip in Queenstown. The two-bedroom, two-living room lake-view apartment (with two separate bathrooms) was excellent! Make sure to choose a unit on the 4th or 5th floor, as the 3rd floor's lake view might be partially obstructed by other buildings. The kitchen is fully equipped (though you'll need to bring your own seasonings). On the evening of April 18th, we were able to see both the aurora and the Milky Way right from our room's balcony – no need to go out and brave the cold, which was absolutely amazing and so worth it! The hotel parking was also very convenient; we paid 45 NZD for three days. However, it might be inconvenient if you don't have a car, as the hotel is located in a lower area off the main road, and the front desk is a bit of a walk from the other two apartment buildings. It's about 2.5 kilometers from Queenstown center.
