Horrific location. I am not exaggerating when I say the parking lot of this motel is like a set piece from the Walking Dead. A high secured parking lot (which is a good thing) protects cars from the drugged out people aimlessly wandering outside of the fence. I have never seen anything like it. The untrained staff charged my card for the room even though the reservation was prepaid. The motel refused to assist, so Trip.com refunded me after trying to talk sense into the front desk clerk. I would never stay there again, and I am not picky about motels if the price is right.

No hanging out in the hotel per se, though it is a busy one, people keep to themselves and whatever there doing is there business,as long as it's not visible to others, which in the neighborhood it is,but in the hotel it isn't.

Nice stay msids are a little unrolling and never check office before yelling get out or not yp u pay thinking off leating and Nanyang friends called cockroaches

The city of Phoenix is very good, very modern, and the public transportation is good. The surrounding area of this midtown hotel is not very safe, and the hotel is surrounded by walls. It reminds me of South Africa. When I went to the Super Bowl, the prices of other hotels were sky-high.

There were holes in the sheets & curtains. The tub & furniture were stained. There was like fuzz/dirt on the bathroom air filter. The location is not the best; it's gated. The room only had 1 towel, washcloth & hand towel for 1 person. The bath towel was stained, too, so I couldn't use it

Locked gate to get in is nice, but my key card didnt work for it so I still had to call the desk to get in. Phone in the room didn't work, not even a dial tone, had to use my cell phone to call the desk. Specifically booked this hotel because of the tubs, apparently none of the tubs have plugs so they're unusable. Attempted to ask a housekeeper for help but she didn't speak English. Plug for the built in chargers was broken off in the wall. All in all would not stay here ever again.

We were on a cross country trip and originally booked another Red Roof Inn. After tweaking the trip a bit, I went to rebook that one but seemingly booked this one instead. There was a big event in town so most hotels were sold out. We showed up and there were loiterers everywhere. Lots of ******* hanging around. Probably wasn't a good sign the entire motel was fenced in. We left and parked at the 7/11 next door while we regrouped to figure out what we wanted to do. While there, we saw a security guard armed to the nines. After sitting there for a bit he came over and knocked on our window to check on us. He told us he wanted to be sure we were OK because we were in a bad neighborhood at dusk and someone just got stabbed at the 7/11 the night before. We called the specific Red Roof Inn which went to a call center. They cancelled our reservation (and as of today, haven't charged us for it). So only positive I have about this experience is the customer service.
