Princess Kamala Beachfront Hotel

Very good location, with the beach just across the street and a vast variety of restaurants within walking distance (both local and international cuisines). Breakfast was ok, pools ok as well.

Unfortunately, it’s not 5 star hotel. It might be so 20 years ago or so. Everything is old, rusty, partly moldy. The only thing we liked is the location. Pool is dirty, breakfast is average. I believe for this price you can find much better choice.

Great location, good offer for price-quality. Very welcome and nice staff. Good breakfast. Pool easy access and the hotel offered souvenirs after check out, very thoughtful! Highly recommended. Good locations with a lot of restaurants and shops around.

As having 5 stars I expected the experience. The room was full of mosquitos, sound of fridge and outdoor AC unit gives you impression of airplane landing. The hotel is not om the beach front although claims ir in the name.

Very old hotel, this is not a 5 star hotel, max 3 stars. The room we got had a street view, but the booking said garden view. You can hear bars and cars all the night, so hard to sleep.

Location is great, staff are friendly, resort itself looks excellent around the pools and the breakfast and room service food is good. If it hadn't been for multiple incidents I would have given this 4 or 5 stars. -As soon as I moved into the room (which they couldn't check me into until 14:25), it stank of sewage/backwash. They use WhatsApp rather than the phone to contact for issues but don't immediately respond like you would with a phone call, so I went to find maintenance to fix this. They did a decent job tbf and I only got a couple of seconds faint whiff of the smell now and again afterwards (until the middle of the next day). But it's not a smell you want to be walking into, particularly when you've waited longer than most hotels make you wait for your room. -When I ordered room service I was very particular about the fact that I'm allergic to egg (egg yolk but I said egg), the fried rice arrived with egg and I only realised when I got to it. This is a major major issue - if I had been severely allergic rather than it just causing bad stomach issues, it could have been dangerous. I never was offered a refund on this. -Their showers are of the worst design I've ever seen. They are positioned far lower than my head at 6'1", cannot be adjusted, only tilted backwards. Now doing that is not a good idea because the glass walls of the shower are on a ledge at the same height as the rest of the bathroom whilst the shower itself is in a dip. The problem is that the rest of the bathroom does not have any tilt toward a the dip of the shower whatsoever and does not have any other drainage. This means every shower you have if you are of average height or taller, utterly floods the bathroom. I will include pictures to help understand (I have had to adjust the brightness of the photo as the lights in the bathroom are so dull). I am shocked that at no point did the people who designed it, the people who installed it or the people who signed off on these a showers did not stop for one second and think - 'well this is an utterly stupid design'. -I asked for a wake up call at 5:30 that I didn't receive which if I hadn't set my alarm, I would have missed my flight. I think this is the first time I've been at a hotel and they forgot to make a wake up call since they are so important.

Our stay was one of the best experiences we've ever had. The staff was quick to help, kind and understanding. Breakfast was delightful and it is situated near a dive shop, restaurants and seven eleven. The drive from this plave to others has an amazing view.

The hotel staff was very good. The room cleaning service was perfect. Clean room, spacious near the beach and restaurants. Perfect pool.
