Phuket Racha Kata Homestay

We travel to Thailand very often, and the last two times we chose this street and the one parallel to it. It's quiet, there are no discos nearby, so getting a good night's sleep is a real pleasure. There are plenty of activities nearby: shops, spas, pharmacies, a market, cafes, and restaurants. A temple is within walking distance. The hotel is family-run and a bit dated, but the hospitality of the owners makes up for everything. The breakfasts were delicious, even if they were the same every day, we were fine with it. We recommend it, we really enjoyed our stay.

We booked a room at this hotel for one day after getting the wrong tickets and were very pleasantly surprised. We booked for a very reasonable price, and upon check-in, it turned out to be much better than expected. The hotel is in a great location, with the sea, cafes, massage parlors, and shops all within walking distance. The hotel is very clean and cozy, with a homey feel. Everything has been thought out and prepared for the comfort and convenience of guests. The room has everything you need, from a disposable comb to a safe. There's a dining area downstairs, with coffee, tea, sweets, and treats available 24/7 for free. Umbrellas, beach towels, and even beach mats are available for free, and the staff is so friendly and attentive. The room is very simple and clean, and it's clear the hotel is being maintained and improved.

Overall, everything was fine. The room was spacious, with sliding windows overlooking the neighboring buildings. Well, nothing can be done about that. It was clean, there was a large refrigerator, and there's a kitchen downstairs if needed. The water in the shower was standing and didn't flow down the slope. I think the bathroom cabinet needs to be moved into the room. There's space, but I had nowhere to hang things. The bathroom was just damp, so you can't hang things there. At least there were hooks in the room. I slept poorly because the door kept slamming, but apparently that's the nature of Thailand with its silly doors.
