Pałac Pakoszów Schlosshotel Wernersdorf

Pakoszow Palac, yet another castle in Lower Silesia, with a 300 yr history, now restored and expanded, functions as a 5 star hotel. Near Jelenia Gora/Hirschberg and facing the Riesengebirge, it is very popular due to the beauty of the landscape ( view of forested mountains and lakes in the palace's grounds,) its many amenities ( spa, pool, good restaurant) and it' very reasonable price. The new rooms ( 4 yrs old), facing a lake, are amazing. They are very spacious, with a balcony, many cupboards and very comfortable beds. Ou BIG thank you goes to Kasia at the reception who did her very best to make us happy by allowing us to change rooms from old to new wing, even though we had already used the initial room. This really made a big difference to our stay. Sitting on the balcony and watching the clouds and lake change colour as the sun set and waking up to a red sun rise was magical.. Thank you Kasia, you obviously know how to please your guests! We wish we had stayed longer. Hopefully, next time.

The location is absolutely stunning. One of the nicest and most relax-full place I have ever visited. The ponds on the hotel property are well kept, you can walk on the bank, sit on a bench and watch a sunset - this all gives you a breathtaking moments. The complete hotel is equipped with Villeroy and Boch porcelain. For animal lovers, it is really a pet-friendly hotel. Service room on a very high level. There is also an outside climbing frame for kids = but in the area, where the kids can play and still do not bother other guest with any screaming - very well-though-trough concept! For e-cars, there is a charging station available at the parking lot. We were a bit unlucky with our stay because of some technical issues, however, the fair approach of the hotel staff compensate any possible dissatisfaction. There are 2 things which did not meet my expectations = that doesn't mean it was bad, this is just one personal opinion: 1. I personally expected a bit wider breakfast buffet - from warm dishes, there were only eggs and sausage variations available. The cold option were much broader - from micro greens and local products to "standard continental breakfast stuff". So you are not definitely hungry after, but... 2. Beds - the quality of mattress and beds are high (from the producers point of view), however, for us they were too soft. We prefer firm mattresses. And they were "moveable"...so it is not a standard double bed, but 2 single beds.

I have booked and cancelled stay in Palac Pakoszow and I am waiting for almost one month for 265 E that I was charged on my Visa.Called this property many times but no one is able to tell me when the money will be paid back. Very bad service! Agata Kelso

the hotel has nothing to do with 5 * ( maybe price.. for 200 euros per night you can get a room without cleaning, instead of one large bed, 2 small beds joined together, breakfast without hot food, sauna not working .In fact, there are real 5-star hotels nearby with a standard adequate to the price...

Convenient atmosphere. We have spend a peaceful period during the years. The activities were well organized. A good mixture of national and international guests is the hallmark of Pakoszow and will guarantee the atmosphere in the Palac.

It was my third visit in Palac Pakoszow, if You are looking for a modern palace, with great views, awesome personel and quiet enviroment - this is a place for You! Restaurant serves fresh and delicious meals, proffessional waiters are always willing to advise which wine is better for this meal. Sadly had no luck with trying breakfasts - as the bed was so great to sleep, I got up after 11:00am. Will be coming back for sure !

We got a Room upgrade, dogs welcome, best service. Good for hiking. Breakfast could be a little bit better for 5 stars. The restaurant was excellent, food and service. if you have any wish, the try to help. We come back for sure.

Very nice and pleasant time spent in an extraordinary place. wonderful staff makes every effort to make the time spent in this place memorable. it is worth staying here even for a moment, which pays off in every element of relaxation.
