What a great place to stay and explore the surroundings. The room was everything we would expect, the view of the lake was stunning, the food was excellent and every member of staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The location couldn't have been better to explore the lake and the surrounding area.

Das Geld der queeren Gäste möchte man gerne haben, denn warum sonst verkauft man Weißbrot in Plastikfolie für 4,50 Euro und Spritzer für 7,50 Euro? Der Gast selber schien eher unerwünscht - oder wieso muss man sich vom eigens engagierten Security Personal bepöbeln und sogar filmen lassen? Es war noch schlimmer als im letzten Jahr. Nie wieder.

Lage des Hotel ist ausgezeichnet! Eigener Steg mit Liegen und Sonnenschirmen! Hintergrundmusik der Beachbar ist zu hören- absolutes Urlaubs/ Strand Feeling! Leckeres 3 Gänge Menü hat uns Thomas aus seiner Outdoor- Küche gezaubert! Andi und sein Team im Service sind absolut bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen! Wir kommen sicher wieder! Ansolutes Fahrradverbot an der Pörtschacher Seepromenade wird vollkommen ignoriert. Als älterer Fussgeher wird man von Fahhradfahren bedrängt und beschimpft. Kellner des Lakes Hotels steht grinsend daneben. Gratulation an die Hotel Geschäftsführung zur Personalauswahl.

Die Location ist an der Promenade direkt am See top gelegen. Damit eine tolle Destination für einen Sundowner….man sollte nur keinesfalls etwas außerhalb der Karte bestellen! Alle Spitzer und Lilletspitzer oder Aperoll bzw Hugospritz sind mit max 7,20 EUR in der Karte. Der nicht in der Karte befindliche Limoncello Spritz wurde dann allerdings mit 11,90 verrechnet. + 65% zum Lilletspritzer???! Für die Location und die Bedienung leider nicht maßhaltend.

Preis-/Leistung passt in diesem Hotel überhaupt nicht. Die Zimmer sind zwar sehr groß und wirklich schön, aber es wird im Hotel sehr wenig geboten. Im Fitnessstudio stand eine Tafel, wenn man kaltes Wasser möchte, kann man das an der Rezeption holen, die Dame schickte mich aber gleich ins WC. Im Spa Bereich waren keine Seife in der Dusche und es gab auch kein Wasser oder Becher bzw Gläser im Saunabereich. Zusätzliche Handtücher wurden erst nach Anfrage im Spa Bereich bereit gestellt. Das Frühstück war gut, aber es war nicht sehr viel Auswahl. Der Kakao war aus und wurde anscheinend nicht nachgekauft. Die Müslischüsseln und Löffeln waren verschmutzt und die Bedienung war sehr unmotiviert. Vegane Milchprodukte gab es nicht und auch keine Haferflocken natur. Der Außenbereich ist auch wunderschön und sehr groß. Für 5 Sterne würde man diese Punkte erwarten, denn die erfüllt sogar zu 80% ein 3 Sterne Hotel.

Ich war am 10.8.22 dort mit der Familie essen. Ein völliges Fiasko! Die Qualität des Essens war unter jeder Kritik und das bei astronomischen Preisen. Ich habe einen Salat Caprese bestellt um 19.50 EUR. Dafür bekam ich 2 Minibällchen Mozarella, viele unreife Tomaten und 3 Spritzer Balsamico Essig darüber. Bei diesem stolzen Preis hätte ich mir bei Weitem etwas anderes erwartet – optisch als vor allem geschmacklich. Für mein Kind habe ich ein Kinderportion Nudeln mit Tomatensauce bestellt. Dafür musste ich ebenfalls 19.50 EUR bezahlen! Von dem abgesehen, war die Tomatensauce alles andere als kindgerecht, das sie sehr pikant war. Meine Schwester aß Jakobsmuscheln mit Sauce, von der sie nachher Bauchschmerzen bekam. Das Hotel ist sehr schön, und das Frühstück auch sehr gut. die Lage ist sehr gut direkt am See. Auch das Hotelpersonal war freundlich.

Diese Bewertung betrifft nur das Strandrestaurant. Hervorragend an der Strandpromenade gelegen, auch für Nicht-Hotelgäste offen. Falls man einen Platz in der vorderen Reihen möchte ist eine Reservierung unbedingt erforderlich. Ohne Reservierung ist es durchaus schwierig, aber an der Bar ist immer ein Platz für Gäste frei. Service immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Speisekarte bietet jedem Geschmack etwas. Die Essensqualität absolut in Ordnung. Das Preisniveau ist am oberen Ende der Skala, aber diese Lage und Ausblick rechtfertigen das durchaus. Wer nur zu einem Drink hier eintreten will, ist hier auch richtig.
