Calane' Resort

Structure not large but well organized. Access to the sea via shuttle which runs approximately every 15 minutes. Among the positive notes are the cleanliness (applause goes to the attendants), the chef (who made the difference), the welcome (intended as reception service. Friendly, present and non-invasive animation, but perhaps too much...a little more involvement wouldn't hurt...well done anyway. Definitely a discordant note: the maitre d' in the restaurant, definitely not up to par in a grumpy way, for example, the simple request to move the table slightly to the right or towards an empty space. What is embarrassing is that when the same request was made on my behalf by a third guest, known locally, and his " sympathiser", the table was moved to me. For the series, guests from series A and series B. Behaviors which certainly do not refer to company policies but which nevertheless constitute bad publicity for it. For the 5 stars, some needs to be improved wait.

Beautiful facility and professional staff. Everything perfect but applause to all the entertainment guys in particular to Dario D'Angiolillo, Ciro Varavallo, Alice Pulichino, Andrea Esposito and Andrea Agostini and Gabriele Ricciarelli, for making this holiday special and unforgettable!!!

We stayed for two weeks in August, overall we are very satisfied. The quadruple room is quite large with comfortable beds and clean towels every day, the only negative note is the wardrobe which does not have the possibility of attaching other hangers. The entertainment at the top, we had never stayed in a Bluserena village and the evening shows are wonderful, the guys are true professionals: Andrea, Ciro, the very good choreographer, Giordana, the magician Simone and all the others. The sweet Serenino boys Edoardo, Tommaso and all the rest of the team always led by Simone. The sea is more transparent some days, less so on others. The shuttle service is punctual and in the end it didn't bother us, also because we purchased the Jolly formula which allowed us to have lunch every day at the Scirò restaurant without having to run, booking 48 hours before the others. The choice is less extensive than in the central restaurant, but the sea view was worth everything. The Scirò staff are always available: the maitre Alberto, the chef Luca and Mr. Roberto spoiled us. In the evening, however, we dined on the patio, happy to be away from the chaos of the interior, too bad there wasn't a buffet downstairs as in previous years, so we were told. Climbing the stairs with trays and lots of children around wasn't very comfortable and sometimes even dangerous. A note of thanks to the waiters who are always very quick to clear the table, especially Antonella who is very good. In any case, the choice was varied and we ate very well, gaining at least 2/3 kg ;-) The place is a nature reserve, so from this year on the beach they have prohibited the use of canoes and pedal boats, there are very sorry, also because the site had not been updated with this information. Just as they have removed the showers and a mini bar directly on the beach (we were told by customers from the previous year) and for those with especially small children it is not at all easy. I recommend a restyling of the bathrooms and showers at the entrance to the beach, even if the lady continued to clean, they are absolutely not 4 stars. The latter was certainly the sore point of the holiday and many complained. Finally, the very well-kept swimming pools, the lifeguards always careful to clean and supervise the children. The Calane one is salt water, we appreciated it. I recommend going there, you will not be disappointed!!!

Very nice village, small but comfortable, we had everything within reach without having to walk hundreds of meters. The efficient baby bottle shop, you don't need to bring anything from home, supplied with: various pasta or creams, various sauces and second courses although always the same (only the type of legumes varied per day), snacks (fruit and yoghurt), pots and pans, etc. everything was there. The salt water pool is quite clean. Nothing to say about the restaurant, excellent food, welcoming and friendly staff, the only flaw is the Il Gusto restaurant.... terrible service! The rooms aren't that great and the cleanliness leaves a little to be desired. In ours there was a damp stain under the ceiling and there were no mosquito nets. The beach is beautiful even if the umbrellas are too close and having to reach it by shuttle which was not very comfortable was not the best. The restaurant on the sea offers excellent food, but in order to book you have to ask the President of the Republic, it is practically impossible to book it! Involving but not intrusive entertainment, very entertaining shows. A round of applause to Simone the magician, Alice the entertainer, Ciro and above all to Dario. Overall it was a nice but above all relaxing holiday. Perhaps the quality of the rooms reduces the value for money a bit but all in all a valid structure for families and children.

I stayed at the calané Village from 24 to 31 July with my family... I was positive about many things such as the dishes they serve in the restaurant, the rooms that are always clean, the breakfast and many other things. But I believe that the strong point of the village is the Serenino staff, those who keep our children entertained, but applause must be given to Martina, a sweet and extremely helpful girl, always attentive to everything, I'm just saying that my daughter wanted to spend more with her that with us parents 😅, whole days without seeing her. Then there is Cristiana who is also super, even with related ailments she has always been present and available. I hope to see them again who are great at what they do because they love us from the heart.

I chose Bluserena trusting the brand, unfortunately we were not happy with some factors. The restaurant, rooms and entertainment are definitely positive. The sea and the beach were negative. There are no canoes, there are no inflatables, beautiful sea but you can't swim because it's full of jellyfish, we basically spent 7 days in the pool. A village that asks you €2500 for a week cannot ask you another €250 for soft drinks, it's a throat grab. Next year I will opt for another brand.
