Nice hotel, not far from the beach. Most of the staff was friendly. The breakfast was complete and very good. The pool is not filtered, and so it is not as clean as I would have liked. The internet was very good.

The location is near a supermarket, so it's convenient for shopping. Close to Malecon and bus stop. The breakfast buffet was delicious with all you can eat coffee, orange juice, Mexican food, pancakes, fruit, and bread. There was also a refrigerator on the first floor where you could store food and drinks.
The only improvements were that the Wifi was unstable and the toilet door could not be closed.

Beds are great, really comfortable.
Breakfast was good and a good variety. The service staff were excellent. We had some confusion at check-in and our room wasn't ready on time, they said 10 minutes so we stood in the lobby with our children for 15 minutes and then they said another hour, which was a little frustrating after a long flight.
Overall would absolutely stay there again!

Room was small, dark with molding smell. Worst hotel I've ever had. Nothing like the picture posted. Stay away and do not let the bad smell ruin your vacation.

Always enjoy my time at the Hotel Portonovo. This time my room was tiny with the only window opening to the ventilation stack from the basement. Not nearly as nice as other times when you have a window to open and look out of. Breakfast was delicious, as usual, and staff is always helpful and friendly.

The rooftop patio and pool are a great place to relax and watch the sunsets from. The beach/waterfront is conveniently located less than a block away.

Our room is very small and internet a little spotty. Rooftop pool was great, just a tad cool until you got use to it. Good location to visit the Malacon

It was close to the malecón but the room was very small. I request to change to another room the supervisor provided the room one day before I was leaving next day.
