First night getting here, and the manager at the front desk, which is an Indian guy he referred to me and my children as “you people”, “N word” when I tried to check in when I explained to him that there was a situation on my end, but I was taken care of. He was using the N-word, referring to me and my family and was basically saying if we “don’t hurry up”, he will call the cops to get us removed. After finally checking in the room it is very small compared to any Microtel I have been to. The bed has a hook thing that doesn’t hide or remove and with the room being small if you pass by you are at risk of being extremely cut like I was or injure your knee. The other side of the bed was sinking in so when you lay down on it, you’re falling off the bed. ooo but I’m not done, I’m currently staying here because I’m visiting for a funeral due to a loss of a family member so I had some members of my family visiting me at this location. I was never told or shown any information stating that we are not allowed to have outside guess that are not staying at THIS hotel NOR WAS I, PROMPTED TO SIGN ANY DOCUMENTATION STATING THAT WE ARE NOT ABLE TO HAVE GUESS IN THE ROOM. He was trying to insinuate something. So then the manager which is the Indian guy calls my room tells me we’re not able to have a guess when I go downstairs and politely asked to see the documentation he therefore goes in yelling at me using profanity and threatening to call the cops, to which he calls the cops, and I have all the video where he was the aggressor Calling me out of my name, using profanity, and refuse to talk to me, even though I had valid questions that were reasonable. When the cops finally get here, he tells him that he doesn’t want us on the property and he would like for us to leave. That’s not a problem as we are packing to leave we asked him for not only our deposit back, but our Remaining funds left for the one night left on our visit. Trip was no help. We called trip and a Indian lady answered she at first sounded like she was happy to help until she spoke to the manager and then she was singing a different toon she also racially profiled us by listening to the Indian guy and basically saying that we can’t do anything we can’t get your money back and you will leave that property after speaking to the manager. “ * Calls manager by his first name* and hearing the situation we can’t do anything for you” i’m extremely disappointed and upset not only with the actions of trip and their employees but also this hotel and their employees showing that amount of racism not only to me and my family, but my children as well .

I checked into my hotel to find that the area was a bit questionable but I continued into the building checked in and proceeded to my room.. I got ready to shower and after getting in I was met with hair all over the shower curtain which I was able to capture video evidence of..I let the attendant know and he informed me that there was really nothing he could do and I would need to speak with the manager in the morning which I would not still be there to do so over all my experience was horrible because I couldn’t sleep in the bet for fear of what I would find in it.

I picked this hotel because it had the Wyndham label but it did not live up to the Wyndham standard. When I first checked in, I was told my reservation was canceled because they charge the card on file at 6 PM, but gave me no notice about my reservation being canceled. I ended up rebooking which was fine. Although the hotel is secured by key entry, there are still people loitering near the front door, which made me feel unsafe. Once I took the elevator up to my room on the second floor, I noticed that the carpet was horribly dirty. When I got into the room, it was not up to the standards of the pictures. You could see paint drops on the baseboards as well as a worn-out pillow on the window seat. When I arrived, we wiped down everything and it was full of dust, and just not very clean. The shower curtain didn’t have a liner. And the towels are just too small. All in all, I would not rebook here the next time I come to visit Raleigh North Carolina.

I am always leery of hotels with a bulletproof glass booth in a small foyer for check-in. No one ever answered the bell. There were several people hanging out in the foyer. After about 5 minutes, someone exited the lobby and the people in the foyer went in and hung around the small and bereft looking lobby area. I then went in too. Two staff people were chatting and told me to wait for the check-in person, who was using the bathroom for at least another 10 minutes. Room was very basic, but clean.

They don’t speak English , the staff was very rude and they steal your property then play like they don’t understand English

Microtel was nice and clean, had no issues with the room or staff. Free basic breakfast was ok, but what a sketchy area near the place. Seems like the worst portion of Raleigh.

The area was not the greatest. People laying in the hallways talking on the phone. Most of the people were contractors working in the area.

Great value. The room was very clean and the air worked well. The curtains blocked the outside light very effectively. It is in a busy area but I heard very little noise. There is even a fitness room that I wish I had time to try out but the equipment looked well maintained. I would stay there again.

Okay but wouldn’t stay here again. Very noisy area, people standing outside around the entry, loud occupants all through the night. There is no daily house keeping for people staying more than one day. Front desk staff were nice. Breakfast was provided but I didn’t eat it so I cannot comment on that. I felt very uncomfortable here and only left my room when necessary.

Booked 2 nights and left after 1 night. I was grateful to get a refund on the second night. This is the only hotel I’ve stayed in that the lobby was locked unless you’ve previously checked in or were buzzed in by the front desk. The front desk was also enclosed with security glass. The room was beat up, worn out, and displayed shoddy repairs. It was clean - but again in rough shape. During the night, doors were closed loudly, and there was a woman across from us who was yelling and screaming most of the night. The gym equipment was old and broken and the breakfast was very basic. There was also a lot of people who congregated by the front door who were smoking - not a good first impression. On the plus side, the front desk team was friendly, and there was free parking and the location was convenient.

The staff is very friendly and the room was clean. The area can be a bit offsetting (people loiter near the hotel because there is a gas station / convenience store in the same complex), but a great deal. There is also an AMAZING Taco Truck in the same complex which serves EXCELLENT MEXICAN food.
