A really wonderful hotel: comfortable room, smartly furnished, beautifully maintained, great breakfast, invigorating spa, and best of all an elegant 24 hour bar manned at night by the very friendly Ülke. Highly recommended.

Tolle, neu renovierte Zimmer mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Die Badezimmer sind grandios mit Regendusche. Man geht durch den Torbogen der Engelsburg und befindet sich in einer anderen Welt. Allein die Lobby mit 24/7 Bar begeistert und entlockt ein „Wow“. Man wird super freundlich begrüßt und es wird einem jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Auf Nachfrage werden sämtliche Kissen Arten angeboten. Die Betten sind super bequem.

Mit meiner Frau war ich über Pfingsten zu Gast in diesem zentral gelegenen schmucken Hotel. Das Zimmer war gross, sauber und cool eingerichtet. Das Bad modern, das Zimmer eher rustikal aber mit Stil. Das grosse Fenster brachte schönes Sonnenlicht ins Zimmer. Die Betten sind megabequem und wir haben dort geschlafen wir König und Königin. Das Personal ist motiviert und sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wenn wir wider in der Stadt sind werden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Leider hatten wir keine zeit das Gym und den Wellnessbereich zu benutzen, was wir bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt aber sicherlich nachholen werden. Wir können das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter sowohl am Empfang als auch im Service. Die Zimmer und vor allem die Bäder sind komplett renoviert. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Großer TV, tolle Betten. Umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet, auch hier sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service. Das Restaurant "Engels in der Burg" hat anscheinend gerade wieder eröffnet. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend mit einem sensationellen Menü und einer hervorragend ausgesuchten Weinbegleitung. Sehr aufmerksamer, aber nicht überzogener Service. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Käseauswahl, die mit viel Liebe zum Detail erklärt wird. Toll! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir haben im April 2022 ein verlängertes Wochenende im Parkhotel Engelsburg verbracht. Mitten im Zentrum von Recklinghausen gelegen, ist die „Engelsburg“ eine wohltuende Abwechslung von den vielen eintönigen Hotelburgen in welchen man sonst übernachtet. Die Engelsburg ist ein historisches Gebäude aus dem 18. Jahrhundert mit Burgmauern, Burgturm und Gärten. Das Haus ist in einem super Zustand und der Historie wurde in allen Belangen Rechnung getragen. Sobald man die Engelsburg betritt, fühlt man sich wohl und dem Alltag entrückt. Die grosszügigen Zimmer sind erst vor kurzem renoviert worden und bieten den modernen Komfort unserer Zeit, kombiniert mit dem geschichtsträchtigen Charme des Gebäudes. Die äusserst netten und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiter sorgten sich um uns und wir haben uns wie „kleine Fürsten“ gefühlt. Danke an ALLE! Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Restaurant „Engels an der Burg“. Das zum Hotel gehörende Restaurant bietet „Fine Dine“ auf eine freche, unkonventionelle Art. Ein sehr gut sortierter Weinkeller komplettiert das Angebot. Wir können Alles in Allem die „Engelsburg“ nur empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.
