Lovely hotel. Very clean. Beautiful location Stayed overnight for a midweek wedding at a close by location, owners are very helpful and friendly. They took us to our wedding location for £5 per person. Rooms are very comfortable, had the best sleep for a long time.Breakfast very tasty. Views are amazing. Thank you very much. Will stay again if we are down that way again.

I recently had a short visit to the hotel. The facilities that I saw appeared reasonable with the exception that there were no disabled toilet facilities generally available to guests. I am permanently in a wheelchair and when I asked for the disabled toilet I was shown two toilets with narrow / difficult access and no specific disabled grab rails, hand rails, etc. These toilets were not suitable for my use. Having pressed the point further I was shown to a disabled toilet in the owners' private accommodation, but that was only there because the owners' parents were disabled. I thought that all hospitality venues had to have disabled toilet facilities easily available for guests these days.

Our first stay at this hotel after leaving the car there for week travelling out of Exeter airport(overnight stay on late flight return). Owners included in the package trips to and from airport. Owners lovely couple and very welcoming. Room was really nice with very comfortable bed, crisp soft white bedding. The bathroom shower was hot and powerful excellent to refresh after a long flight. More importantly the thick white bath towels were wonderful luxuriously soft and great that we had shower gel, shampoo and conditioner to use. Great nights sleep. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and plenty of other items to help ourselves to- great that there was filtered coffee! Now we have found this hotel so near to the airport will certainly be returning. Thanks for a great stay and you made everything so easy for us- will certainly recommend to others travelling near Exeter

Hi all, Recently stayed at the Grange Court as we were attending a wedding at Rockbeare Manor we arrived mid afternoon , the drive has a few pot holes but ok, plenty of parking directly outside the hotel there is a car park next to the hotel sadly in need of a bit of attention due to rubbish and overgrown shrubs and open Oil storage tanks, rang the bell was met by Steve we believe is the owner/proprietor very welcoming and efficient in his description of how the hotel runs , we informed him we were attending a wedding and he let us know he can take us to Rockbeare Manor for a donation to the staff tip box which was a big help sadly he does not do returns but assisted in suggesting local taxi firms, we got a local and he charged £15 for our return in the evening from the wedding. Can I say think your missing a trick Steve not offering the returns think you could have a lot of takers and your staff tip box would fill quickly, some of the other guests at the wedding staying with you could not get taxis ?? On to the hotel and room, the hotel is a traditional style you get the feel your in someone’s house not a bad approach if you used to that sort of hotel but sadly we’re from London where sadly you don’t often find that approach anymore not knocking this but if your used to the more corporate type hotel which are a little more clinical was a bit of a shock. Our room No 8 initial reaction dated in need of an upgrade bed was a little creaky but bedding clean and fresh and towels were excellent, the furniture was sadly very dated, a lot of room dust all around the bedside cabinets and sorry to say floor needed a good hoover, the bathroom was clean and tidy , but again sorry to say the floor needs urgent attention the tiles were old and discoloured which give the impression they are very dirty , there are plus’s the view from the room is fabulous and the tea tray was very good . We had breakfast both days and had a very good freshly cooked full English you pre order but you get what you order, and there’s plenty of tea, coffee juices and pastries Steve provide a great service was cheerful and made you feel welcome without being intrusive which was great after a wedding ,,,,,,,!! Steve we had a comfortable stay but have to say your hotel is looking in need of some TLC and upgrading of your rooms the hotel does not look like the websites and marketing material which is sad as there is a gold mine in those beautiful surroundings. Hope are comments are taken in the right way.

This is a very old type of hotel. it is family run and reminds me of faulty towers, when coming to service. There are no delivery companys for food and the hotel has no restaurant, so if you are hungry bring food or drive 10 minutes to a restaurant.

Absoloutly lovely place to stay and very clean. The breakfast was very well cooked and the staff very friendly. The surroundings and look of the building was very well kept. The only issue i have is i forgot to ask for the bottle of wine advertised with my room. But just means i will have to book again.

A lovely old building with lots of original features. Plenty of parking. An excellent location to attend a wedding at nearby Rockbeare Manor. Our room had been freshly painted but leaving the window open slightly got rid of the smell. Breakfast was lovely.

Home from home. Great place, lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was amazing and views are to die for. Little difficult to find off the main road but worth it. Lovely little residents bar and loads of nice walks in the area
