"The room was very neat and clean, and the service attitude and quality were also great, beyond words. I've stayed at a few other B&Bs, and this one really stands out. The location is also excellent; you can see Putuoshan right across the street. Getting around is super convenient too, as it's only a few minutes from the ferry terminal. The scenic mountain and water views are very soothing. Overall, the experience was really fantastic. Friends, just go for it, no need to hesitate! I genuinely recommend this B&B."

RRares MAn excellent stay on Shengshan Island. Before we even arrived, the owner already contacted us on WeChat with information about our stay and gave us very comprehensive tips for our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, next to the boat port, the main entry onto Shengshan, and it is just across it. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived off the boat and helped us get our luggage. They have a very convenient luggage lift which means that you don't have to lug anything up the stairs. The hotel feels clean, luxurious, comfy and homely at the same time. It is a family run hotel and the reception is very warm. Our room was very clean and everything that was needed was provided. The view was spectacular from our room (image provided). The bed was very comfy and the lounger was perfect for watching the sea within the comfort of your room. The pool downstairs is great to cool off after a day out exploring. The breakfast provided was very nice and simple, some youtiao (Chinese fried dough, similar to churros), soy milk and sweet and savoury buns. All in all an excellent experience, and we thank the hosts for everything.

GGuest UserThe room is really beautiful, with no blind spots and sea view rooms. The whole house is smart. The water curtain flower room restaurant is also very beautiful. You can dine at sunset and make great movies. The dishes are also delicious and the ingredients are fresh. The most noteworthy thing is the service. They are responsive to every request. The child had a fever on the second day and they helped us prepare a fever-reducing patch. They also helped us cook white porridge for dinner. It's so thoughtful. I will choose this restaurant next time I go.

AAnonymous UserThe Putuo Mountain Hotel is a well-established hotel within the Putuo Mountain scenic area. My elders stayed here before, and it's recently been renovated. Overall, it's quite high-end, and there's even a small garden outside which looks magnificent when lit up at night. They offer shuttle bus service, and the lobby manager was warm and attentive. Luggage storage is available, and the breakfast spread was plentiful, though I didn't find any mini wontons. Overall, it's pretty good, but they could install a few more cameras to ensure safety. I'd definitely consider staying here again in the future!

AAipaodemilkThe hotel offers a shuttle service, and we called ahead to book it. However, the shuttle left without us, and we ended up waiting in the scorching sun for about 10 more minutes. We had to contact the front desk again and find our own way there. I think the front desk should coordinate better with the shuttle service regarding the number of guests and their contact information; it would greatly improve the guest experience. When I booked, I specifically requested not to have a room at the end of a hallway or directly facing a corridor, but that's exactly what we got. The room's window also overlooked the roof. We visited on a weekday, not a holiday, so I'm surprised the hotel was so fully booked. The room size was quite small, and the bathroom and shower were especially tiny. The facilities were standard. The shower sometimes had inconsistent hot water, alternating between cold and hot. The concierge and housekeeping staff were polite, though. Breakfast was decent. The main advantage is the location, being less than a 5-minute walk from Puji Temple and close to the island's minibus stop.

QQiuqiuwangBasically every room has an infinity pool, but unfortunately we couldn't swim due to the heavy fog. The room is clean, tidy and has a good a**osphere. The hotel has a small courtyard that leads directly to the beach, perfect! The hotel is run by young people, enthusiastic and energetic, and the children who live there are very nice. They took us to check in at the first fluorescent sea in 2024. Except for not seeing the sunrise and sunset in the foggy weather, everything else is good. There are really few tourists now. The hotel has no breakfast, only drinks. Fortunately, it is very close to the main street of life. You can try the nearby breakfast shops. The prices on the island are about 1.5-2 times that of Shanghai! The island is under development and renovation recently, and it is expected to be completed in early June.

Because of this, everything about the room was perfect, except for it being a bit small.

QQianqianwanxingThe room was very clean and odorless. Even though the window faced the street, it was very quiet at night. I, a light sleeper, actually slept soundly last night. The front desk staff were excellent. This morning I was in a rush to get to Puji Temple and accidentally left my coat's belt in the room. The staff proactively called to remind me about it. Everything was very satisfactory, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time.
