If you are looking for a somewhat luxury stay - this is not it. The biggest plus is how close it is to Vatican City. And the folks at reception are friendly. The other big plus is it includes a decent breakfast which we enjoyed. But there was no door separator for the bathroom which was very odd - and it's good for stay for a day or 2 if your main focus is exploring the city - not if you are looking for luxury stay.

The hotel is a 15 to 20 minutes walk from the Vatican. We chose it because of this reason and it having a family room. the Pros-Price of the room is midrange. The front desk during the day shift are polite and accommodating. The rooms are adequate by Europeans standards and initially clean during the first couple of days. The breakfast staff were very good. Shout out to the male duo and female duo per shift. they were very polite, accommodating and attentive to our needs. The breakfast served was also good and adequate. They served both hot and cold menu, a good continental breakfast. the Cons-. The cleaning staff is poorly trained. in our more than a week stay , I am sure it was cleaned only 3 to 4 x, the most but definitely not every day. Only the beds were made up daily but sweeping the floors, giving us complete towels or toilet amenities replenishments were not daily done. there was even a day when it was not even totally made up and when we complained they said we requested it not to be cleaned which was not true. The front desk night shift is poorly trained and not receptive to our request and comments. We travel frequently and I seldom give a poor rating because I am not really meticulous in our hotel picks as I only have a basic need of a clean, safe, with basic necessities hotel room with a good adequate breakfast. As we are out most of the day and only come back after dinner. As I state these above comments not to degrade the hotel but just to improve the service in fairness to the other very good staff of your hotel.

Communication with the owner excellent, quick response available on WhatsUp, we appreciate his kindness and helpfulness. Accommodation very well equipped, clean, with everything a family needs (microwave, washing machine, coffee maker). Terrace amazing, also the pool - entrance is free for guests but do bring your swimming cap (can buy it there for 5 euro). Sunbeds and umbrellas were always available by the pool. Quick and easy access to all the tourist hotspots - a few minutes walk to the metro and grocery, a few minutes to the city centre by metro. Good pizzerias nearby. Overall a wonderful accommodation which I highly recommend. We would be happy to come back again.

If you are looking for freshness in a hotel, avoid this one. But if what you want is the basics well done, this is your hotel. I saw some photos published here and they are very old, they no longer correspond to reality. It's a shame I didn't photograph the room, but if you want to know how the hotel is now, just look for Nova Domus Hotel on ***********. About the hotel: as I said, what he is willing to do, he does with excellence. Very attentive and friendly staff, sensational cleanliness and tidiness and a delicious, albeit simple, breakfast. The bed is delicious and the shower is strong and warm (with a large shower stall, which is not always easy to find in Rome). The location is ok: it's not far from the Vatican in particular, but it's in the middle of a lot of hills and if you want to get around on foot, be prepared. But there are bus stops nearby and I got around that way without any problems. Would I recommend it? With eyes closed. If I ever return to Rome, that's where I'll stay again.

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo, semplice ma pulito e con personale gentilissimo. Buona anche la colazione. Molto vicino al Vaticano. Sono stato una notte a Roma per congresso e se dovessi tornare sceglierei ancora questo Hotel. Consigliato !!
