A casa di Barbara offered a great location, a very comfortable stay, and excellent value. We liked being outside the center with its hordes of tourists, but close to a train station and Metro stop so we could get anywhere we wanted to go quickly (when we didn’t feel like walking). Lots of great dining options, bars, cafés, gelaterie, etc very close by.

This quaint B&B is situated in the Ostiense district just a few blocks from Pyramid plaza. If you want a taste of real Rome, this is it. We arrived early and so Ms. Barbara had arraigned for Fatima to get us in the door. Barbara came later and it was like staying with family. So friendly, inviting, and clean.

We decided to take a short Roman vacation and B & B Casa di Barbara was the perfect location. Just a block from the Metro and train station, with many great restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood. Comfortable bed. Compact, but clean bathroom and shower. Breakfast accommodations were a little sp****, but the cappuccino and espresso were fantastic! I would highly recommend for a quick Roman getaway!

The place is very pleasant and well located, close to the metro and train station, with access to the airport in a journey of around 30 minutes. Mrs. Angela was very friendly and helpful and welcomed us to give us all the information about our stay. There was a wide variety of foods for breakfast, such as cakes, breads, yogurts and juices. The place was impeccably clean and the bathroom had shampoo, soap, alcohol gel and a hairdryer. The best of all was the warm welcome, so we are especially grateful to Fátima, who helped us with everything, even accompanying us to the train station. I recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet and residential place in Rome.

The lady who runs the B&B is very kind and helpful. The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was also in good condition and the facility offered soaps and other consumables. Breakfast was free with packaged products, it could be consumed all day as the common kitchen was free to access. Bottled water was free.
