For the money spent go somewhere else. No ice trays in room and the ice maker was down, which they knew about, but had no idea when someone was coming to fix it, when it did get fixed it still didn’t work and started leaking water all over the inside of the fridge. The shower had nothing to stop the water from dumping out of the bottom of the shower door because there was no *****, water all over the floor almost fell day one. Other shower knob was broken, this was all reported to Martha at the front desk, none of it was fixed we stayed in the 2 bedroom in C building. The place is dusty and dirty and we will be contacting whoever we need to to be reimbursed. Hot tub doesn’t get hot. Homeless man digging in the trash and warming trash on the grills. Place is an expensive dump, or at least the room we stayed in was, and the lack of help for it just solidifies it.

Overpriced for condition of complex. It seemed unsafe and unsanitary. Many steps to office, parking lot, and rooms. Banister and room entry doors were stained. Pool chairs and gate were broken. Noise from room above us, chair scraping tile floor and footsteps. 10 Garbage bags heaped in front of office door. Furniture was minimal and dated. Our kitchen set resembled a card table. One night stand was the size of a pie plate, the other blocked the door to bathroom. The drawers in bathroom could'nt open, if the door was open and the ref. handle was broken because it hit the wall to open the door. Shared area was not cleaned, cigarettes, beer cans and debris remained all week. Trash dumpster area was in front of our room, it was gated but trash was all over and rodents were present. Numerous guests expressed problems with door locks, air conditioning and no ice maker, general dissatisfaction. Jamie at the desk was personable and good for hospitable, but the items were out of her control. I was surprised our room was handicap equipped, but the steps, sidewalk or paths, gravel parking lot, were not. I saw no elevator. Beach chairs were rusty and corroded. A rusty, fishing plyers and stringer with hooks was laying by the entry to the office and my steps for a week. Good things: location, ample towels, Jamie.

We have stayed at The Beach Club multiple times over the years. The pool has always been wonderful, and the proximity to Crescent Beach and Midnight Pass businesses ideal. We have returned for these reasons, in addition to private decks on certain units. The units have always been clean and fairly well-appointed. However, in the last couple of years, maintenance of any kind seems to have been neglected. Every single lounge chair by the pool was broken on our last visit. Beach chairs unusable. Bedding worn. Furnishings crammed into small spaces, and in need of replacement. I would love to hear that these issues have been resolved in years to come so we are encouraged to return.

Very mixed feelings about this place. The positives: location is great- super close to awesome beach and restaurants. Pool is nice, but pool furniture needs some attention! Outside of the building and front doors to units are all worn, scuffed and look really ugly. First impression is not good. Unit is ok for 4 people or less- they advertise up to 6 but that would be way too tight. Condition of the interior of unit was not good. Pictures online look good, but in person not so much! Carpets are FILTHY! Walls scuffed, furniture is dirty, kitchen was not clean, dirty and sticky cabinet handles. The beds were beyond uncomfortable. I believe they advertise queen size, but sure felt more like a full size. Regardless, would be ok if they were at least comfortable. There is a pull out couch, but would have been a pain to move the furniture and was probably more uncomfortable than the beds. Bathrooms are ok, just dated and depressing brown walls. No counter space in one of the bathrooms, and no closet, just a couple cabinets with some hanging space for clothes- it was ok. There are really no bathroom amenities other than a very small bottle of some cheap shower gel- not even sure what it was, but no Kleenex in bathrooms. Not a big deal since most people bring their own “stuff”, but at the very least provide some tissues!!! There is a hair dryer and we did find bottles of used shampoo/conditioner under the sink, looked like it was left there by previous guest. Beach towels are very small, so bring your own! There is a washer and dryer inside unit, this is a plus!! It’s a shame since this place has potential, but clearly owners are not too concerned with maintaining. If you do not care about the condition of a room, then this place is just fine simply because of the location- but for what they charge, this place should be better maintained!!!!

We stayed in a one bedroom unit. Clean but definitely needs updating! The carpet is extremely worn. The sink in the kitchen needs caulking replacement. The unit is tiny and dark. I loved the private balcony and location. At this time there is a building across the lane that is being worked on so we are awake by 7 from the construction noise. The kitchen needs a few more dishes and bowls. I know I am being critical but for the money we paid for a 2 week stay, I expected more.

Washer and dryer were broken when we checked in. We also came home one night to a flooded kitchen because the ice maker in the freezer broke and was spewing water all over the place. The manager didn’t seem to care about any of these issues, but rather told us worse things that are happening in other units at the complex. Beach lounger rentals or a restaurant gift certificate would have been nice for them to offer us. All we got was shrugged shoulders. Not even a sorry.

This is it! The Beach Club at Siesta Key is situated on a side street walking distance to a ton of great restaurants, bars, and shops. We never had to drive anywhere during our stay, and that is rare! There is a trolley available if you would like to take it to Siesta Village, but we just stayed within walking distance since there was so much to offer. Shawna in the office was terrific and met all our needs. We love The Beach Club being a small and quaint condo/hotel, instead of the big high rise ones you see throughout the Keys and Sarasota. We stayed in Unit 106D with friends and it was perfect! This great unit, is 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, and is appointed with all the things we needed, including a washer and dryer, dishwasher and full kitchenware, even beach towels. The living room/dining room/kitchen is a nice large area, and has 2 TV's in it. This unit is updated and very clean and comfortable. This 2nd floor unit 106D overlooks the pool, in which we never saw anyone in it, nor the pool area. It was our own private pool and jacuzzi! The pool area has lounge chairs as well patio tables & chairs and also a bbq. They have beach chairs and umbrellas that you can borrow to take to the beach, which we did each day! It was such a nice feature to offer the guests. The private beach designated just for The Beach Club is just a short 3 minute walk, accessed thru a gated walkway. The sand is white and beautiful and the water warm! We will definitely stay here again in this Unit, can't wait to go back!

Overall not a bad property. I would recommend you stay on the second floor however as we were on the first floor in unit 100 B and could hear the occupants directly above us during the day as well as at night. You clearly hear the flushing of toilets, water running and people walking and moving furniture. We discovered upon our arrival that the water from the faucet in the bathroom trickled out and produced no hot water. This was reported to the manager who was able to get the problem resolved later that day however that was the last day of our stay. Housekeeping appears to be doing a minimal job at best . We noticed mold growing on the tile in the bathroom and our bare feet were very dirty from walking on the tile floor. On a positive note it’s a short walk to the beach.

The unit was not cleaned prior to our arrival. Our feet were black after walking on the tile floor. The kitchen faucet had to run at least six or seven minutes to achieve even warm water. The clincher was there was a trickle of water from the bathroom sink and it never got warm. How to wash our faces the kitchen sink after wasting water for a long period of time waiting for it to get warm. I can’t imagine what the owner‘s water bill must be. Upon our arrival there was a younger gentleman working the desk who was rarely in the office. He was absolutely no help at all. The second day of our stay there was a female who was helpful and managed to arrange for someone to come look at the bathroom sink on our second day. We appreciated her efforts however we were only here for three days so needless to say it was a miserable vacation. The grounds are not well-kept and there’s debris and trash laying everywhere . We will never stay here again.
