5/5 – Perfect Family-Friendly Stay in a Great Location We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive and super helpful with our baby, making our family trip so much easier. Their kindness and willingness to assist truly stood out. The location is excellent – situated on a charming street filled with cozy cafes, lively bars, and cute boutiques. It was the perfect spot to explore the area while having everything we needed right nearby. We also appreciated the daily complimentary coffee and bottled water, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh options. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. Been here at least three times already. It’s a nice boutique hotel, hidden in a courtyard and located very conveniently, just a 10 min. walk from Jing’An temple subway station and in walking distance to many sights, restaurants & bars. Spacious room with cozy sofa corner and stylish bathroom. Only disadvantage: the mattress is a bit hard for my taste.

Excellent place to stay. Within walking distance of many restaurants and Jinan temple. Close to subway and easy to get around from here. Bed so comfortable. Loved the bath but took a long time to put water in and water wasn’t very hot. But still worth it.

Love this hotel! This is the second time I’ve stayed here and it was just as good as the first time. Beautifully designed rooms are spacious and have great amenities. Good location close to Jing’an Temple and a subway line. Lots of great restaurants and coffee nearby.

Customer service was excellent and the room was beautiful. I love that this was a sustainable hotel and it showed. Will absolutely stay there again.

Pros: great location, very stylish designer rooms with beautiful reclaimed red wood furnishing. Friendly staff. Cons: there was a loud sound of water running in the ceiling, we guessed it was water running in pipes, it was loud enough that we wanted ear plugs. We called reception at 5:30am to ask for plugs but nobody answered our call. When we politely complained in the morning we were told it was the air-con system. We found it hard to believe that anyone would rent a room with such a noisy air con system, let alone without ear plugs. Also, the water from the taps and shower never got hot, only warm.

The room is very cozy. I missed the chance to spend more on the restaurant. The staffs are very friendly. Very lovely place♥️

We were blown away when we found such a beautiful place in the center of Shanghai. It was a place that made our final stay mesmerized.

I think everything is excellent … great little boutique hotel ….. only complain my wife has is that the room is a little bit dimmed …. Wish they have more lights for the lady to do their make up… Also the car can’t reach the entrance and you need to walk in a tiny bit …. Other than that …. Love the room and I got the garden view room which is nice !

If you're looking for a super modern place, this might not be for you. But the rooms are nice, super well located, friendly staff, and a nice bar/western restaurant. Recommended

Hotel room nice. Breakfast especially western breakfast was very poor quality. No need to pay for breakfast. Loads of places to eat nearby

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay. There were many dead cockroaches in my room, which was both unsettling and unacceptable. The hotel feels very outdated—a stark contrast to my experience in 2017, when I truly enjoyed my stay. Unfortunately, it seems the property has seriously declined in quality and upkeep since then.

The hotel looks just the way it was shown in the photos. Very calming in the midst of a busy city area. Lots of eating places around.

This is the second time I have staycationed here. Really cool hotel, great location and I will be back. Breakfast was great and the restaurant is beautiful with amazing food. Hotel design is also unique and fun.
