Shenyang Shenhe District Hotels

I'm a local from Shenyang, and for Qixi Festival, I wanted to try something different. This time, I booked a Horizon Club Garden View Room at Shangri-La. The view was fantastic, and in the evening, I could even take a stroll in Youth Park downstairs. The hotel's location is excellent; it connects directly to Kerry Centre Shopping Mall and MixC City underground, making shopping 🛍️ and dining incredibly convenient. **Ambiance:** Shangri-La has a classic, slightly dated feel in its traditional Chinese decor, but it still exudes a stately and comfortable elegance. **Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean and tidy. I didn't find any neglected spots in the room. **Facilities:** While the in-room facilities are a bit dated, the bedding, in particular, was uncomfortable for me. The standard pillows were very soft, and the mattress was also quite soft, which didn't provide enough support for a comfortable sleep. This can be easily resolved by requesting latex or buckwheat pillows from the front desk, or asking to remove the feather topper from the mattress. (I personally prefer a combination of firm and soft elements for bedding.) Overall, it was acceptable. The hotel's swimming pool is heated. I had researched it before checking in, so I brought my swimsuit. It wasn't crowded, the water was very clean, and the lifeguard was constantly by the poolside, very dedicated. My partner and I swam 30 laps on the day we checked in – it was fantastic. **Service:** The service was incredibly attentive. I arrived before 1 PM, and since there was a vacant room, they arranged for me to check in immediately. Although it was a connecting room, it was very quiet at night and didn't disturb my sleep. However, if available, I would still try to avoid connecting rooms. Since I booked an executive floor room, I had access to the 30th-floor executive lounge. I'm not an elite member, but the overall service and hospitality were excellent and thoughtful. They offer soft drinks and snacks throughout the day. The afternoon tea is simple, with soft drinks and some light bites, but sitting by the window on the 30th floor with its expansive view and relaxing is a truly pleasant experience. The evening Happy Hour can also be quite satisfying if your expectations aren't too high, offering hot and cold dishes, along with alcoholic beverages. Now for the highlight: the Horizon Club breakfast was truly something to look forward to! The à la carte menu offered high-quality dishes, and as a foodie, I was absolutely delighted. It's more distinctive than a standard five-star breakfast. I would definitely return just for this breakfast!

The location is excellent, right at an exit of Metro Line 2. It's just a 4-minute walk to Financial City Exits B and C, and Line 2 provides convenient access to the Liaoning Provincial Museum and the airport. Behind the hotel, there's a snack street, with a night market a bit further in, making it an incredibly convenient spot. The hotel itself was quite clean. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, offering both Chinese staples (like steamed buns, various small dishes, black rice porridge, millet porridge, and tea eggs) and Western options (such as toast and coffee).

The hotel is clean, staffs were friendly. Good location with many stalls in the walking distance. Breakfast was included in the price which so convenience and definitely worth the money. Recommended.

It's quite embarrassing to say. I was hanging out with my boyfriend, but when I checked his phone at the hotel I discovered that he had cheated on me. I immediately kicked him out. After all, we had been together for too long. I was really sad. I went downstairs to look for him and found that he was really gone. He had disappeared without a trace. Girls are too emotional. I was so sad that I burst into tears. The lady at the front desk of the hotel heard the noise and came over. She immediately helped me to the sofa. I was already in a half-conscious state from crying. I just felt like I was lifted up to the sofa. The lady at the front desk, Shi Yi, was really gentle because I was I was physically weak, so she let me lean on her shoulder to wipe my tears. I was crying and had a runny nose, and I wiped all of my tears onto her hands. She didn't dodge, and after I calmed down, she asked me what happened and advised me for a long time. She even added me on her WeChat. When she got off work, she was still worried about me, so she went to my room to comfort me for a long time and brought me a lot of snacks. Oh my god, she really spoiled me like my sister does at home. This stay in the hotel was really warm. Without Miss Shi Yi at the front desk of the Mehao Lizhi Hotel, I really don't know how I would have made it through it alone. I feel like I have been reborn since then, and I hope the hotel will do better and better.

Warm and Memorable Stay at Conrad Shenyang During our stay at Conrad Shenyang, the exceptional service truly impressed us. While the hotel’s location, facilities, and stunning views are fantastic, it’s the thoughtful care from the staff that made our visit unforgettable. When my daughter fell ill and missed breakfast, Room Division Manager Robert kindly set aside some bread for her. The Front Office Guest Services Manager helped arrange medication and even coordinated with the restaurant to prepare millet porridge outside regular hours. Special thanks to Night Guest Services Manager Tom and his team, who went out of their way to assist us with an urgent matter involving local government. Their care made us, as overseas Chinese, feel truly at home. This wonderful experience has deepened our love for China. We are very grateful and highly recommend Conrad Shenyang to all travelers.

The room was clean and tidy. Despite being in a busy downtown area, it was very quiet at night, and the bed was super comfortable. The front desk service was excellent. The location is superb – it's just a 10-minute walk to the Mukden Palace and 15 minutes to Marshal Zhang's Mansion. Zhongjie Commercial Street is right outside the door, offering beautiful night views and abundant dining options.

The Swissotel in Shenyang is truly an amazing place to stay! The service is very attentive, with staff who are warm and professional, making you feel right at home. The room is spacious and comfortable, and the bed is incredibly cozy, allowing for a relaxing rest. The room is well-equipped, and the bathroom is clean, neat, and has everything you need. The hotel's location is also very convenient, with easy access to transportation, shopping, and dining options. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options and tastes great, giving you the energy to start your day. Overall, the Swissotel Shenyang excels in service, facilities, and comfort, making it a highly recommended choice!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, within a 3-4 km radius of major areas like the Forbidden City, Zhongjie Street, and K11 business districts, and MixC City is also within walking distance. Free parking is available, and the entrance is convenient and easy to find. Guest rooms are situated on the 30th floor and above, offering fantastic city and night views. The rooms are well-equipped with new facilities, all amenities are spotless, and the mattress and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast is good and offers a decent variety. There's even a food delivery robot service that brings orders right to your room door. The staff are warm and welcoming, making this a hotel you definitely won't regret staying at.

This hotel turned out to be surprisingly great. I was initially debating whether to book a guesthouse or a hotel in Shenyang. While guesthouses were more affordable, I had concerns about their cleanliness, so I ultimately decided to book this hotel. **Amenities:** All the facilities are brand new. With a smart AI assistant, everything is largely hands-free. **Cleanliness:** Our room, at least, was spotless, and the cleaning staff tidied it daily. Overall, we were very satisfied with both our stay and the dining experience.
