Hotels in Qingnian Street/Color TV Tower Night Market, Shenyang

I'm a local from Shenyang, and for Qixi Festival, I wanted to try something different. This time, I booked a Horizon Club Garden View Room at Shangri-La. The view was fantastic, and in the evening, I could even take a stroll in Youth Park downstairs. The hotel's location is excellent; it connects directly to Kerry Centre Shopping Mall and MixC City underground, making shopping 🛍️ and dining incredibly convenient. **Ambiance:** Shangri-La has a classic, slightly dated feel in its traditional Chinese decor, but it still exudes a stately and comfortable elegance. **Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean and tidy. I didn't find any neglected spots in the room. **Facilities:** While the in-room facilities are a bit dated, the bedding, in particular, was uncomfortable for me. The standard pillows were very soft, and the mattress was also quite soft, which didn't provide enough support for a comfortable sleep. This can be easily resolved by requesting latex or buckwheat pillows from the front desk, or asking to remove the feather topper from the mattress. (I personally prefer a combination of firm and soft elements for bedding.) Overall, it was acceptable. The hotel's swimming pool is heated. I had researched it before checking in, so I brought my swimsuit. It wasn't crowded, the water was very clean, and the lifeguard was constantly by the poolside, very dedicated. My partner and I swam 30 laps on the day we checked in – it was fantastic. **Service:** The service was incredibly attentive. I arrived before 1 PM, and since there was a vacant room, they arranged for me to check in immediately. Although it was a connecting room, it was very quiet at night and didn't disturb my sleep. However, if available, I would still try to avoid connecting rooms. Since I booked an executive floor room, I had access to the 30th-floor executive lounge. I'm not an elite member, but the overall service and hospitality were excellent and thoughtful. They offer soft drinks and snacks throughout the day. The afternoon tea is simple, with soft drinks and some light bites, but sitting by the window on the 30th floor with its expansive view and relaxing is a truly pleasant experience. The evening Happy Hour can also be quite satisfying if your expectations aren't too high, offering hot and cold dishes, along with alcoholic beverages. Now for the highlight: the Horizon Club breakfast was truly something to look forward to! The à la carte menu offered high-quality dishes, and as a foodie, I was absolutely delighted. It's more distinctive than a standard five-star breakfast. I would definitely return just for this breakfast!

We enjoyed staying at the Westin hotel Shenyang. The room was very clean and we enjoyed the swimming pool and the well appointed Gym. The hotel was 10 minutes walk to the Subway station and an additional 5 minutes to shopping centres Pizza hut and several other eating facilities. The only negative was the air conditioning we were unable to get the room cool and had to open the window to get relief from the heat. We didn't use the air-conditioning while we were there. The staff were very pleasant and helpful over our 2 nights stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing hotel with shopping mall and a wonderful supermarket downstairs. Excellent service (on the first floor reception and upstairs staff were very helpful, polite and fast) clean, has cool bar, exquisite design and views, also there are some amazing restaurants. We enjoyed the stay.

Facilities: The hotel is good in both hard and soft furnishings. It's just a little old, not really new. But overall it's good Environment: It's convenient to go shopping next to K11, and the night view is also good. The biggest advantage of not being near the scenic spot is that it's very convenient to take a taxi and it's not noisy. Service: From the welcome at the door to the subsequent check-in experience, it's very good. Lena sent us to the room and gave the children refrigerator magnets. And took the initiative to add WeChat, so that you can contact us at any time if you need it. In general, whether it's location or service, Wanxin is really cost-effective. The price of an economy hotel, the service of a five-star hotel.

Great location! Closest hotel to the U.S Consulate. Just a 3-minute walk away. Plenty of food options, and a supermarket across the street. Friendly staff, good size room, and good value for money. Would stay again!

Perfect location when you do biz in Hunnan only. In and out from airport very convenient and the river makes it a worthwhile place after a busy day to calm down.

The staff were super friendly and very helpful. I was there for just a short business stay, but it was lovely nonetheless. At some point I needed some printing, and the staff offered me free printing services. Their gym was simple but clean and the room was very comfortable as well. Would stay here again!

This hotel is an absolute gem, I highly recommend it! The location is fantastic; a subway entrance is right downstairs, making it incredibly easy to get around on foot. Perfect for families with kids, you won't have to lug heavy bags around or rush. Getting a taxi is also super convenient. From the moment we checked in, we felt incredibly welcomed. We had booked a 'parent-child' room, and the front desk kindly upgraded us to a family room (which we had discussed in advance). The layout was well-designed, ensuring both adults and children had a comfortable and pleasant stay. The in-room amenities were incredibly thoughtful, with every detail considered. They even prepared special children's toiletries and snacks for the little ones. Staying here, you truly get the warmth of home combined with the convenience of travel. It's absolutely the perfect choice for family trips!

I enjoyed my stay here and the staffs were very kind and helpful. Especially I would like to thank Eric for his kind help and whenever and wherever possible that he offered us. Point to be noted is that me and mate didn’t have any knowledge about the local language yet we didn’t feel it anywhere hindering us from expressing our thoughts to him. The hotel boasts an excellent location, within a 3-4 km radius of major areas like the Forbidden City, Zhongjie Street, and K11 business districts, and MixC City is also within walking distance. Free parking is available, and the entrance is convenient and easy to find. Guest rooms are situated on the 30th floor and above, offering fantastic city and night views. The rooms are well-equipped with new facilities, all amenities are spotless, and the mattress and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast is good and offers a decent variety. There's even a food delivery robot service that brings orders right to your room door. The staff are warm and welcoming, making this a hotel you definitely won't regret staying at.
