予約後の電話対応、送迎、全てのスタッフさんの対応、温泉、お食事、お部屋の全てにおいて大変満足できました。 スタッフさんはどこで会っても挨拶、そして笑顔。お食事の時も丁寧な説明に飲み物もスピーディーに給仕して頂きました。お食事も美味しくスタッフさんの心地よいサービスと対応に感動しました。 温泉は内湯は黄金の湯、源泉掛け流し温度も良くで保温性が凄く、露天風呂が温泉では無いのが丁度良いです。温泉にも感動です。 お部屋やお宿自体の古さは否めませんが清潔感があり、ロビーに広がるお香（？）の香りや喫煙部屋でしたが、お部屋もお香のほのかな香りで広さも十二分で大満足。掘りごたつのある部屋で部屋に入ると暖めてあり到着後すぐに快適にお部屋で過ごすことが出来ました。 冷蔵庫も持込みの物も冷やす事もでき良かったです。 いつも旅行に行き帰宅すると「家が落ち着く」と思うのですが今回はそんな事も思わず「塚越屋七兵衛は家のように落ち着いて過ごせた。また行きたい」と思えるお宿でした。

雑誌「温泉博士」の入浴料半額手形を使い、５５０円（ハンドタオル付）で入浴しました。接客応対はとても丁寧で浴室入口まで案内して頂きました。ただ日帰り入浴でも宿帳記入が必要です。もしかしたらコロナ対策なのかもしれません。 この宿は伊香保温泉の鉄泉が源泉掛け流しで供されていて、これを確認したいというのが訪問した目的でした。現地は石段からは離れた、温泉街の外れにあります。駐車場は宿泊客と兼用で台数が限られるため、実は少し前の平日に一度訪れたのですが、その時は日帰り入浴はできても駐車場が一杯で入れませんでした。 浴室は、内湯が源泉掛け流し。温度違いの鉄泉の浴槽が２つあります。熱い方の浴槽に湯口があり、一段低い位置にあるぬるい方の浴槽を経て掛け流されていました。前者は３名ほど、後者は５～６名ほどで一杯となる大きさです。 浴槽を三方で囲むように洗い場があります。滑って転倒するのを防ぐためらしく、床の数か所に深緑色の長いゴムマットが敷いてあります。滑りにくい素材に床を張り替えるなど、何かもう少し浴室の雰囲気にも配慮した対策は無いのでしょうか。美観上マイナス点であるのは否めません。サウナはコロナ対策で利用休止となっていました。 お湯の方は掛け流しらしく、鮮度が高いのは判りました。ただ思いの外、鉄の匂いが少なかったです。ただ、温泉の状態は日々刻々と変化するので、これは訪問時にたまたまそうだっただけかもしれません。 外には小さな露天風呂があり、無色透明のお湯でした。鉄泉をろ過したお湯か、水道水か井戸水のどちらかでしょう。そもそも成分分析表や温泉利用状況の浴室への掲示が不充分で、詳しい状態は判りませんでした。温泉法に定められた掲示はきちんと行うべきではないでしょうか。 ただ、循環ろ過したお湯特有の嫌な臭いをお湯から検知しました。露天風呂に景観がある訳でもないので。この宿の場合、露天風呂の存在は無視して構わないと思います。 古い建物のようですが、内部はリニューアルされて綺麗になっていました。浴室の貧相な感じのゴムマットと、お湯の素性がよく判らない露天風呂がマイナス点でしたが、接客応対も良かったので、料金次第では宿泊利用でも悪くないかもしれません。
