Villa il Borghetto

If we could give 100 stars, we would! The grounds and room are absolutely spectacular- well taken care of and extremely comfortable. The rooms are stocked with everything you could need to feel at home. It is in a really great location close to the bus stop, shops and grocery store (a little bit of a walk) and heart of Siena. Cristina and Claudio are the most friendly, caring hosts and were extremely flexible and accommodating with us during our unexpected extended stay. We experienced a medical emergency and needed to extend our stay by 5 nights and not only did they make that work for us (even taking a listing off booking sites until we knew how long we’d need to stay) but offered to drive me to the hospital or do ANYTHING to help while my husband was in the hospital. Beyond beautiful rooms and accommodations, the hosts went out of there way to help us in our time of need which we will forever be grateful and thankful for.

Ideal accommodation for visiting Siena and the surrounding area. Apartments are lovely, and so are the staff. Cristina was incredibly informative, as well as friendly. Would suggest booking a room with terrace if you are looking to have dinner/drinks at apartment during your stay. Highly recommend overall :)

Our family of six had a wonderful visit. We had plenty of room and our wonderful hosts were excellent and would offer suggestions or help! It was great to have three bathrooms for so many people, and even though we didn’t cook, there was a great kitchen to do so. We would definitely stay there again!

The apartment was large, bright and very clean, well equipped with everything we needed, beautiful garden and terrace, convenient parking lot. air conditioning, comfortable beds. Excellent location, just outside Siena and well- connected with all the points of interest. Cristina and Claudio offered us consistent attention and support during our stay, great advice in planning our Tuscany tours and went the extra mile in accommodating our late arrival on a Sunday. Greatly appreciated! The good wine selection available in the apartment was a very appreciated bonus, and so were the local bus tickets available at reception. We would recommend this place without hesitation.

Very nice appartement, well equipped, beautiful and very friendly family. The bus stop to the city of siena is nearest to the house. We will come back for sure. And we warmly recommend this accommodation

We spent 9 fabulose days in villa il Borghettto in Siena. The 3-bedroom Apartment, beatufully organized, with enough space for 3 people and very well equipt so you could feel that you are at home. This feeling was specificaly intensify due to the owners Christina and Claudio who were such a great hosts and always available for any questions we had and providing us with the good advices in order to make our stay more pleasent :) The location was just great. To reach Siena historical centar it will take you a few minutes either with the car or with the bus(more convenient) that stops in front the Villa. In addition, very good location if you would like to exploare this Toscany region and other near medievle towns (e.g. Florence, Arezzo, Monteriggioni).

Our stay at Villa Borghetto was marvelous. The communication was incredible from the very start, Cristina and Claudio were really understanding, kind and maked sure everything was perfect at all times. The apartment was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need, and the location was very good (5 minutes away from Siena if you decide to use the bus that stops right in front of the apartment). Highly recommend staying in this beautiful villa.

In one word: this marvelous place has far exceeded our high expectations. Every and each particular aspect was certainly between very well and incredible. Never concern about the distance to center of Siena - the bus goes each 15 mins, cost 2,6 euro (return trip), and you can reach the Villa by foot from Siena in 15 mins as you will go downhill. Beautiful view from the windows, nice kitchen, excellent bath with such a nice tiles and ceramics, great design of the rooms - typical Tuscan, very precise, with nothing excessive. The quality of cleaning is just perfect. The same with the quality of dream and bed even though our windows looked to the local drive road. No problem at all. Nice garden, with the picturesque view of the Tuscan hills, absolutely perfect people working there (it is a family business as I got). We are really and very grateful for all. If we visit Siena again our future accommodation will be the same.
