"My wife and I stayed 3 incredible nights at Antica Residenza Cicogna and wished we could have stayed longer. I knew through the emails and contact with owner Elisa before we came that this would be a great place to stay. She is so kind and thoughtful, responsive in every way. Everything about her place was special. Elisa is such a great hostess! Her attention to detail is clear in how beautiful her bread and breakfast is ran. The breakfast was amazing, cappuccino every morning was terrific. The Liberty Room we stayed in was beautiful as was her whole place. I'm sure any room you were in would be great. The staff she has are a pleasure and so kind. Hopefully will be able to return to beautiful Siena in the near future and without a doubt we would stay in her Bed and Breakfast."

"This hotel has been one of the best choices in my life. An old house next to the Cathedral, with an unbeatable location. Filippo and Camila the best hosts. Divine rooms and good breakfast. The only thing is that it doesn't have air conditioning, but they give you a fan. Since there were many of us, we had four rooms, one night the hotel was just for us and we felt very comfortable. Below the hotel there is a bistro for good wine and tapas. I would definitely return and really recommend it."

"Excellent location close to the center, yet away from the hustle and bustle, with a designated parking lot (there are escalators to get there), a Carrefour across the street, and several shops within walking distance. The rooms are named after aromatic herbs and decorated in the same colors as the plants. Ours was "Sage"—large, with a spacious wardrobe, a comfortable bed, a kettle, a large TV, and quiet air conditioning. Excellent sleep quality, thanks in part to the quiet and darkness with curtains. Spacious bathroom, spacious shower, excellent complimentary toiletries! Impeccably clean. A complete sweet and savory breakfast. Thanks to Roberto, who, in addition to his friendliness and helpfulness, shared with us lesser-known aspects of Siena and recommended special places and events. Highly recommended!"

A special mention goes to the staff, warm, friendly, and attentive to guests' needs, even the unexpressed ones: an excellent experience, definitely worth repeating."

"It's right at the back door of the cathedral, and the location is very good. The room is big enough and has a balcony. The view is very good. A very perfect and complete medieval ancient city. It is beautiful and has an excellent Michelin restaurant. The ancient city on the mountain has a lot of uphill roads. You need to take a taxi to the hotel door. If you have a lot of luggage, don't walk by yourself."

"It was non-refundable a month before departure, so I didn't stay and can't leave a review. Although it's a guesthouse, I hope there's a cancellation policy. Later, I joined a day tour to Siena. If you prefer quiet, suburban areas, you might consider staying there. I personally don't like overly quiet tourist spots, and I'm glad I didn't drive to Siena. Half a day is probably enough for a visit to Siena; there's no need to stay overnight."

"This time I booked a deluxe room, which was very large, with a separate cubicle for luggage. The bathroom was also spacious, and the towel rack automatically heated up at night. It's still quite cold here in the mornings and evenings at the end of March, but the hotel heating was just right. Perhaps because of this, the hotel hadn't started pest control yet, so there were quite a few bugs in the room. I booked dinner at the hotel, which I wouldn't particularly recommend. The dining environment was nice, but the food was just average and the price was slightly higher than outside restaurants. However, their breakfast was quite delicious. The hotel pool wasn't open yet this season, but sunbathing in the garden was very pleasant."
