This is my first time writing a bad review. The service is really bad. There is no wifi and no signal. I told the front desk many times but they always said they would repair it but they didn't. It delayed my important work.

Excellent hotel with lovely rooms, amazing views of the Lion’s Rock and delightful staff who provide a very high level of service. The restaurant serves amazing food (dinner and breakfast). The hotel is quite isolated, however, although this is no great hardship as Sigiriya has little to offer, except its prime location as the nearest village to the Lion’s Rock, and you may well see wonder fauna as you travel to and/or from the hotel (a giant water monitor crossed our path, for example). We only stayed one night at the King’s Resort and it rained, so we missed the chance to try the local trails. We had a lovely time staying here, nonetheless.

What an experience we had at sigiriya kings resort. We stayed for one night so we could climb sigiriya rock which was amazing. We had room 101 which looked out onto sigiriya rock and pidurangala rock, I don’t think you could get a better view it’s was amazing. The food in the restaurant was beautiful, the staff are very friendly and very helpful I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. Thank you for such a memorable experience we loved it x

We stayed overnight after a long road trip from Colombo. Room was a Double and small but clean and comfortable. At breakfast we could see the sunrise over Pidurangala rock. Peaceful. Lovely breakfast brought out in a full tray. Good stopover to start our Colombo drive trip.

Beautiful place. Excellent accommodation surrounded by nature. Very peaceful & relaxing setting. The surrounding scenery is stunning with views of LIONS ROCK. Beautiful swimming pool. Great food & service. Wi-Fi throughout. Tea & coffee making facilities in room. Great location for Lions Rock. Highly recommended !!!

Great hotel in a fantastic location with views over Pidurangala and Lion rocks. We stayed in the tree house which was really special with views over the surrounding jungle. The restaurant was amazing. Great food, freshly cooked and top notch service. Would highly recommend.

Down a dirt track away from the busy roads you will find a little oasis that’s Sigiriya Kings resort. A very warm welcome and a lovely drink were appreciated after a long drive. We were initially shown the tree house which if you are of younger years than us would be great fun but we decide to stay in a beautifully appointed room with bath and separate shower, a super king bed along with a terrace with plunge pool overlooking Sigiriya Rock. Perfect to come back to having woken up at 4.45 to Climb the rock. Bed linen, towels, and products were all top notch. Breakfast was included with either a choice of traditional Sri Lankan (we had fish curry) or a continental/English one that included yoghurt, fruit, an egg dish and pastries. All beautifully served. The only comment I would make is that it is nice to serve hot toast and preferably not white bread. All staff were uber friendly and helpful. This is a good choice if you want to be away from the crowds and yet near enough for an early morning walk.
