despite the average size of all the rooms we got roaming back and forth thru the sporades here we've been assigned to a wide and sunny room facing the very wellcomed pool with a charming view on the north cost of the island equipped with a generous wardrobe and staff for coffe and tea accordingly bathroom is the best place where recover from a full day of sand, wind and burning sun the nearby of the airport does not turn in much disturb for a reasonably amount they serve a good and well assorted breakfast in summary a very good accomodation either for long stay and for the last-night before return flight it's a little tricky to get there we strongly suggest to rent a scooter

Firstly, unless you have transport (hire car, taxi) this property is unsuitable for those with mobility issues due to its location in the hills. The narrow track up is paved but very steep! It's a 25 min walk from the airport & 15 mins from the Amaretto Bar (where tourists and locals gather for the impressive airport views). If you're on foot it's pretty well signposted. When you arrive you're greeted by a charming little property and an immaculate swimming pool & bar. Reception is tucked away up some steps just beyond the pool. There are about 15 rooms, at least 1 of which seems to be a 2-bedroom apartment for up to 6 people. We had a studio with a superb view over the runway and the north of the island (as requested when booked — room 12). The studio was spacious and clean, & accessed using a traditional key (which means you can charge phones, etc. while you're out as no key-card needed for power). Good fridge but the kitchen worktop had no sink, hob or kettle. Balcony a good size & the shower was new and functional, with various settings and good water pressure. Toiletries replenished daily. The pool area is peaceful, however the small snack bar was not open due to it being low season. You really are in a secluded area & the proximity to the hilly wilderness means the surroundings are stunning. Hosts are very accommodating. Complimentary bottled water on arrival. On departure day we were given late checkout free since the property wasn't full & our flight wasn't till late.

Want to recommend a lovely place: Takis studio! Hearty hospitality, clean and tidy place, incredibly quiet with an amazing view! There is no describing how much we enjoyed the serenity! On the one hand close to the center, on the other hand, isolated from all the action! It's been a few months since then and there is not a day that we do not remember the days we visited Takis Studio! And most importantly: a warm attitude from the owner of the place and her family! Take care of everything for us! Help with any question and problem that has nothing to do with accommodation! Lovely people! Ah .. and a really homemade breakfast! Including cakes they make at home themselves !!! After Skiathos we continued to Rhodes and Athens, and nowhere did we enjoy the same level as in Takis! Miss! We will definitely be back!

If I could I would give 0 stars. Let's start from the fact that the reservation of this studios on booking was with free cancellation until ..... midnight. My boyfriend tried to cancel the reservation at 11.05 pm but he was not allowed to. We contacted the owners who told us to contact booking, and booking told us to contact the owners. A classic. Moral of the story, the cancellation was not granted, the money was not returned to us and we were forced to stay in this studio. Once we arrived in Skiathos we asked the owner for explanations, a very, very rude and bitter person who tried to give an answer to our questions on the issue of free cancellation, telling us "that day I received so many free cancellations, I couldn't accept them all otherwise I would close".. .but isn't it our problem? But what are the answers? Among other things, with this response she clearly confirmed that it was she who had not accepted the free cancellation. We were not offered either a little water or a breakfast, even just out of kindness considering the mix-up which had occurred solely through his fault. Once we went up to the room (the one on the far left on the 2nd floor), I noticed a yellow stain on the floor in the shower, some mosquitoes squashed on the wall, one on the sofa and so I politely asked the lady to go up to the room. The lady touched the yellow stain and told us that it was not p1p1.. thus confirming that the yellow was dirty, encrusted, a clear sign that it had not been washed properly with bleach otherwise the stain would have gone away. The "lady" began to get agitated stating that we were giving her too much trouble. He started threatening us with calling the police (for what, no one knows). She violently shouted at me in Greek, so that I couldn't answer her (who knows what swear words she said to me), and started shouting "YOU HAVE TO GO OUT, YOU HAVE TO GO OUT"... to our response "YOU HAVE TO GIVE ME MY MONEY" , she was obviously silent. Our stay was truly terrible at this property, neither an apology nor a sign of kindness after what happened. The lady did not show up again for the remaining 7 days, nor her husband nor her daughter. We have been completely alone, denigrated and isolated, due to problems caused by them. Furthermore, despite having the room cleaned, when we returned to the room in the evening, we found the bed as in the photo... that is, unmade, messy... Another very painful point: the really steep climb. We had the right scooter for 2 days, enough time to risk disastrous falls and convince ourselves to change to the car that saved us. Unfortunately, the climb cannot be done by motorbike. All guests there had cars. Honestly, there are much better studios in skiathos. Stay far away from this. Keep away.

I recently stayed in this residence and I was struck by the kindness of the owners and the cleanliness of the apartment - they helped me rent a car (excellent price) and assisted me in all my requests - congratulations

We stayed for a week at Takis Studio. Discreet and welcoming owners, beautiful room with small terrace, air conditioning and mini fridge. The room was cleaned every morning by a very kind lady. Nice setting outside but you have to get there inevitably by car, due to steep and dark climbs. They made themselves available to rent a jeep (at a good price). I recommend it for those who intend to travel by car towards the center.

We were in Skiathos for 4 days and stayed here. Beautiful structure surrounded by nature with swimming pool. We slept great and the owners are very kind and helpful. As the crow flies, it is close to the airport but the noise is not very noticeable and above all it is not annoying.

Un posto dove, immerso nel verde, passi delle giornate in pieno relax e tranquillità . Gestito da una famiglia gentilissima, disponibile e simpatica. Una posizione in collina comodissima per raggiungere tutto quello che serve. Dovessi tornare a Skiathos sicuramente non cercherei altro. Gli appartamenti pulitissimi e forniti di tutti confort. La piscina stupenda da usare tutto il giorno tenuta benissimo con acqua sempre puiita e perfetta. Campetto da basket dove far digerire i ragazzi. Tutto questo immerso in un verde fantastico e ordinato tenuto perfettamente bene dal simpatico e gentile Niko. Le sue figlie e la suocera sono sempre disponibili ad ogni richiesta e gentilissime. Bravissimi! Consigliatissimo
