One night stay at reasonable cost chosen at Fenstanton for access to Park and Ride into Cambridge from St Ives. Don't expect anything other than local supermarket to be open on a Monday night.

The stay was comfortable but the comforter cover was tearing up from the sides and one side of it was completely ripped. We struggled with hot water on our second day of stay, showers in cold water on that day.

Our experience was positive, helpful staff, quiet inside and out, very comfortable beds. There is no restaurant, although the petrol station opposite sells a reasonable selection of sandwiches and hot snacks. It does take a bit of sleuthing to find this Travelodge. For some reason there is no signage, and isn’t visible from the road.

The room was not cleaned at anytime during our two night stay. Used breakfast boxes and general detritus was not removed and the bathroom was not tidied/cleaned.

Don't waste your time or money, nothing around, rude staff, noise from road. If you do have to stay, ask for a room upstairs so you don't have to hear everything above.

Receptionist was very nice and helped us with everything we asked for. Friendly staff went above and beyond to give us a pleasant stay. Very clean and quiet hotel. Plenty space for parking. Easy check in and out. Definitely will be back.

One night stay for a Uni open day. Tucked behind a service station with plenty of parking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was exceptionally clean, the cleanest hotel room I’ve stayed in in quite some time to be fair. Bed was soft and comfy, room temperature pleasant and pretty much no noise. Had a great nights sleep after a long drive. We even had some take out delivered as we were starving. My only complaint and it’s not really about this Travelodge as I loved it but more that so few Travelodges have the cooked breakfast anymore, love a travelodge breakfast! If my youngest does end up in this university then this will be my go to hotel for visiting. Thanks again guys you are doing a great job.

An observation - there are no sockets by the bedside for medical or othe equipment to be plugged in., although extension cables could be provided. - Safety hazard for any one having to get up in the dark perhaps ! Cheap place to stay, clean comfortable bed, but no restaurant on site. A box breakfast could be bought.
