Isla Grand Beach Resort

This the worst ripoff I ever had, the pictures are deceiving no such thing like a resort and or Hotel, this is more likely a 5th level motel so deceiving so highly priced for the real rooms quality. The phone line was death, I had to walk in to the lobby for service , I will rate this place - 1000 if it was possible , location is great but no quality parking control anybody can drive in and use a suppose to be a private beach for the guests, at check Put time I asked for some kind of reference # and or statement and I was told to ask trip.com for my check out time and or check out statement after this lack Of honesty ripoff I was highly concerned to be charge for extra time and or incidentals I never used and when I ask for some kind of evidence and or printout statement they call security to kick me out and if they didn’t was because Inturned my phone camera on

Clean room really comfy bed only thing I didn’t like it was too hot in the room , other than that it was a okay stay .

Roaches in the room on our final day. Told front desk about it and the didn't say anything. When reserving our stay, we weren't notified one of the pools was closed for repairs. Pictures of resort make the pool areas look MUCH larger than they actually are. We also weren't notified that an early pre-Spring Break crowd pool party would occur while we were there with extremely loud music until 2 a.m. We booked our vacation for the week before Spring Break for a reason. That information should've been included before we committed to staying there. It was extremely loud and needless to say, we couldn't sleep until it finally ended, even with white noise apps on full volume. Water pressure in the shower was extremely weak regardless of time of day. Reimbursement for AT LEAST one night of our stay should've been offered, but the front desk just stared when told about the roach situation. Also, don't expect much during check-in about the area, amenities, etc. They basically took our money, had us sign a ton of waivers because of the Spring Break crowd coming the following week, and that was it. As first time visitors to the area, it would've been nice to feel like they actually wanted us there aside from our money. Altogether disappointed in our stay. Martin in the restaurant was the highlight. He told us about a few nice areas to check out and provided excellent service at breakfast.

Always an enjoyable experience staying here. Was inconvenienced by the fact Sonny’s Beach Service was not able to offer chairs and umbrellas due to Spring Break Prep. Didn’t see that it was necessary as spring breaker activities had not started yet. Would probably have stayed at Margaritaville where the service was available had we known ahead of time.

It was a wonderful experience at Isla Grand. We had rented two rooms one of which smelled like smoke. When we asked to get relocated they were able to accommodate us quickly.

Over all the place is clean very nice inside,but unfortunately check in time was 4:00 that’s pretty late for a check in on top of that they didn’t have our room ready till 6:00 I couldn’t believe that so it messed up our plans we had for the day

Did not appreciate getting charged extra for using ammeneties which should be included in the price of the hotel room. Getting charged for using a pool, a hot tub, a tennis court anything else that should be priced within a stay is ridiculous. If that is the case include it in your overall charge. The food in the restaurant at the hotel has dropped it's quality over the last few years. Service was slow and we had to continually look for waiters and ask them to get items for us.

Being able to walk to the beach on a walkway was great. The grounds were lush and beautiful However the ice machines did not work, there was no microwave in the rooms and the pool was under renovation and they never told us when ordering our room. Had a small pool that was open but packed all the time.

Everybody smokes, not just cigarettes...we could not leave out balcony door open. Old building, pool was not open, bars were not all open. Ice machines did not work on several places. Carpet was ripped. Ants on balcony, bird poop on deck chairs. Garbage container on back parking lot, where our room enterece was were overflowing and smelly. They are working on things now for spring break. I guess thats the crowd they cater to.
