GGuest UserI like this shop very much. The location is good and the waiters are courteous. But the room is a bit small and two luggages can't be accommodated. The place to put towels in the toilet is not convenient. You can add more. You have to bend down to take them out every time. If The price is even better!

MMeidusuoheandeladeguozhenniandaiThe room's design and amenities were excellent, featuring boat-shaped wooden blinds facing the river, offering daily views of the sunrise and sunset, and even catching glimpses of foreigners swimming in the morning. Its cool, serene atmosphere was quite different from the surrounding museum area. The few days I visited during this season were probably the sunniest week in recent times; everyone enjoyed sitting outdoors, and it wasn't cold—a sweater was sufficient.
The room's refrigerator, capsule coffee machine, electric stove, and dishwasher were all Miele, making it very convenient to cook for yourself.
I happened to be there during the annual neighborhood party, where they treated the nearby residents to a free meal, although the foreigners mostly just had cheese, fries, drinks, and hamburgers.
The hotel's bicycles are available for free borrowing; they're quite tall, and even with the seat adjusted as low as possible, I still couldn't get on.
Regarding service, there were a few minor issues. During check-out, the bill was checked, and before catching my flight, I had over an hour for breakfast, only to find out 40 minutes had passed before realizing the bill was missing… Towel changing and room cleaning require the signs to be posted before 11:00 AM. Breakfast can be ordered in advance; besides the buffet, you can choose from a menu item such as an omelet or scrambled eggs with bacon for just under 20 euros. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.
HHarryXZObviously, the price is expensive, which is four times higher than that in Shanghai.
It is definitely not comparable to Bulgari and J in Shanghai. Not every room has a bathtub.
So, the lower the expectations, the less disappointment. However, the hotel breakfast is a feature, and you can enjoy the local culture slowly.

GGuest UserUnder Amsterdam's twinkling canals, I stumbled into Hotel Okura, weary from cobblestone wanderings. The lobby gleamed like a golden age dream—marble floors, crystal chandeliers whispering opulence. Check-in was a breeze; the concierge, with a sly wink, upgraded me to a canal-view suite.
Sinking into silk sheets, I gazed at houseboats bobbing below. Room service arrived: stroopwafels, bitterballen, and champagne fizzing like fireworks. Midnight stroll? Nah. Instead, a random jazz playlist from the spa radio lured me to the rooftop bar. Stars, Amstel lights, a stranger's flirtatious laugh. Pure magic. Woke refreshed, Amsterdam reborn. Unforgettable stay.

Llinli67I booked this hotel for its convenient location, allowing me to easily catch the 852 Garden Bus to Keukenhof to see the tulips. Due to tulip season and a few concurrent exhibitions, the room rate was double the usual price, which made the value for money a bit disappointing.
The breakfast, however, was excellent with a wide variety and high-quality options, absolutely no complaints there.
The room itself wasn't very big, but you can ask the front desk for slippers if you need them.
Right across from the hotel is Amstel Park, which is huge and features a fantastic rhododendron garden.
GGuest UserThis is a 4-star hotel, but the room didn't even have bottled water, slippers, toothbrushes, cotton pads, or any of those small amenities you might need. We had to ask for slippers, and they brought them.
The sink was clogged, but they fixed it when we asked.
Room cleaning was superficial; one time, they didn't even make the bed, just took out the trash.
All the dispensers (shampoo, soap) were nearly empty; we had to request refills. The internet in the room was poor, probably because we were on a high floor.
The canal view from the 7th floor was a pleasant surprise – it was definitely worth it.
Among the staff, Kostya was very friendly and helpful. The other ladies were less welcoming.

GGuest UserThe hotel receptionist was incredibly friendly and kind. We arrived early, before 9 AM, expecting to just store our luggage, but to our surprise, the receptionist informed us that our room was already ready for check-in. The room was very clean and tidy, and the king-size bed was super comfortable. All the amenities were readily available, though the only minor flaw was the low water pressure in the shower. The location is fantastic, very close to the Central Station, making it extremely convenient. There are also plenty of convenience stores, pharmacies, department stores, and restaurants nearby.

Sitting on the sofa and looking out over the river, watching boats pass by, gave me a peaceful feeling that reminded me of my hometown.
I hope to have even more memorable experiences the next time I stay at Mövenpick.
AAnonymous UserFor a W hotel, the experience was not as good as it is in other locations
The location is ok , but the tram passing by and the noisy bars might be noisy especially when you are on lower floors
The room is OK , nothing really special about it, and feel soulless with kitchy decorations and wall paintings
Breakfast is not bad as well
Cleaning is ok but i found a silverfish on the room… not to mention as well that some amenities are not replaced if used… unless ordered
Most of the staff were really helpful and nice , except a very rude one on the bank checkin counter that should change jobs if it’s annoying her that much
The pool , spa and lounge and gym are really amazing but unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy them as much as we wanted because of the weather and time constraints
Overall , i would say it’s a good value for money but there are better options in Amsterdam!

GGuest UserBeautiful hotel from the moment you walk in the doors rooms are well presented clean and a good size for Amsterdam, my only issue was the mattress toppers were beyond worn and all bubbley which made it feel like the bed was full of crumbs which made for a sleepless night, other then that the the staff were as friendly and warm as could be which just added to the hotels overall charm.
