"This was my second stay there after a 8-year hiatus.
Perhaps due to the influence of the SDGs, the amenities had been significantly reduced. There were only toothbrushes and mouthwash, and hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided in the room.
What's more, the mouthwash had its cap open before I even used it, so I was afraid to use it.
For now, all the food, drinks, and souvenirs were very expensive at Aura prices...
However, the kids had a great time, so I'd like to go again. "

SSuibianzhuzhuhaodejiudianI was pulling my hair out trying to pick a hotel in Waikiki, but I finally settled on one that wasn't too old and had fewer negative reviews – Ka Laʻi, LXR Hotels & Resorts.
🏨 This hotel used to be the Trump International Hotel and was rebranded as Hilton's LXR last year. Since there's no LXR series in my home country, I did some research and found out that LXR is Hilton's luxury brand, launched in 2018. During my stay, I truly experienced the meticulousness of Japanese-style service. There were many Japanese staff at the front desk and concierge, which explains why so many Japanese influencers recommend it on Instagram.
🛏️ The biggest surprise in the room was the fully equipped kitchen. It wasn't just for show; you could actually cook in it – Zwilling knives, Kinto glassware and pottery, and even a rice cooker and toaster. All the pots, pans, and utensils were there, even chopsticks. What's most commendable is that every single piece of tableware was sparkling clean, like new. For us, who can't finish super-sized portions, being able to pack leftovers and reheat them was a huge convenience. The toiletries were Byredo, which is rare to find in tasteful hotels in the US. The wardrobe in the room also felt very high-quality.
📍 It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. It's a 5-minute walk to the beach and a 5-minute walk to the shopping street. The room offered a partial ocean view, making it convenient for dining, entertainment, and activities, yet it was very quiet at night.
🎳 The only downside was that the public recreation facilities were undergoing renovation, and the pool was temporarily closed. If this is a concern for you, I recommend checking the progress beforehand or waiting until the renovations are complete.
✅ Overall, if you want a comfortable, home-like stay in Waikiki without sacrificing the quality of a luxury hotel, this LXR is definitely worth adding to your favorites.

GGuest UserThe room of 5,000 yuan a night didn't even have a welcome fruit plate. I stayed for four nights. On the last night, the landline in the room kept ringing, and it rang six or seven times. People were stupid once in an hour. I didn't sleep well with my child. At six o'clock in the morning, I went to the front desk to find someone to argue. My English was not very good, so I asked the guide for help me and the front desk theory. I asked for a free late check-out and didn't sleep well. The hotel agreed to check-out until 6:00 p.m. Compared with other hotels, this is a better hotel in Oahu. Overall, I can only give 6 points. Maybe my requirements are too high. The service attitude of living in Bulgali hotels at this price in China is still very different. There will be a lot of gifts.

LLovelyxintaiI booked a city view room, but it was on the side of the beach, so I could still see the ocean from the balcony. You could say it was a partial sea view. The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area which was convenient. However, the shower and bathtub were combined and felt a bit cramped and inconvenient, but it was manageable. The soundproofing was quite poor; even though we weren't near the elevator, I could clearly hear people coming and going next door. The service was neither particularly good nor bad. The hotel's location is excellent, with shopping and dining options just a short walk away.

AAnonymous UserWent there for our honeymoon, and the partial ocean view was actually better than I expected! The room condition itself was all fine, but the bathroom was the worst! It's a dry bathroom, but there's no shower door or curtain in the shower stall, so it literally floods... I almost slipped several times in the bathroom. And the towel rack is right above the toilet, so you can't even hang towels there. There's some kind of hook by the door, but how are you supposed to hang all your towels there? Also, for honeymoons, everyone usually gets welcome gifts and decorations... but after checking in, there was nothing. When I asked at the info desk, they said it's something they do after you've stayed one night, on the evening of the next day or something. They just brushed me off, and there was nothing at all during our entire stay. When I mentioned these issues at checkout, they gave me a box of cookies, but it felt like I was being treated as a difficult customer... Anyway, aside from these problems, it wasn't bad, and Hawaii itself was absolutely wonderful!

Ccomcom1234567890This hotel is conveniently located along Hawaii's main street, offering city and partial ocean views. It seems very popular, with a constant stream of people checking in, including aviation workers and regular guests. While there were no issues with the service, location, or cleanliness, there was one truly disappointing thing.
When I stayed there on a Saturday, I visited SKY Waikiki Bar, which I believe is located in the neighboring Waikiki Business Plaza. It's a rooftop bar with no sound barriers, and they started playing blaring club music around 11pm, continuing until around 1am.
The hotel has a single window, so even with it closed, the sound still filtered in. I'd arrived the day before and was still suffering from jet lag and extremely sleepy, but the noise was so loud I couldn't fall asleep at all, and it was the worst sleep I've ever had. Of course, this incident itself is not the Outrigger's fault, but I was truly disappointed that they didn't take any precautions or take any measures, such as making an announcement on the day, asking if there were any problems the next day, or making some kind of effort to reduce the noise, or even protesting to Sky Waikiki Bar to stop playing the loud music until midnight. Do none of the staff notice or care?
So, on top of the already high room rate, a resort tax of tens of thousands of yen was added to our bill, and we were forced to sleep through the noise. I wanted to ask how it was really a resort.
The hotel was apparently renovated and looked nice at first glance, but the bathtub and shower fixtures were rusty blue, and the walls inside the hotel looked like they'd just been painted, so there was no sense of finesse. I think it's a good place for those who just want a good location and a certain level of cleanliness.
It was our first honeymoon in Hawaii, and we stayed at the Outrigger for a few days, but it was a disappointing experience that ruined our memories.

To put it bluntly, I spent more than 2,000 yuan a night, but the actual stay was at the level of a domestic express hotel, which was a pure torture. Room: The room is basically two beds and a bathroom. The room is clean and new, and the bed is very soft and comfortable. The air conditioner is also good, with little noise and coolness. The disadvantage is that the water flow in the room is very small, and it is very uncomfortable to take a shower. There are no toothbrushes, mineral water slippers, etc.
The so-called sea view marked in the order is actually a city view, because the orientation of this hotel is perpendicular to the beach, so most of the rooms have only 5% sea view.
Facilities: The hotel is very new, the facilities are not bad, there are gyms and swimming pools, but because the hotel and residence are shared, there will be a little more people.
Service: The hotel service is very poor
1. The Japanese front desk did not inform me of the destination fee of 48 dollars per day when I checked in, and gave me an A4 paper to read and ended it. In fact, the $48 per day can be used in the hotel restaurant and cafe, but we were told when we checked out that we had used our own card for all the usual consumption.
2. Forgot to clean the room and leave a tip, and the towels were not changed.
Location: The hotel is very conveniently located, surrounded by business districts, and you can walk to all your shopping needs. The shuttle provided by the hotel is also convenient, but it is not free and is included in the destination fee. Because the surrounding area is prosperous, there are many homeless people, especially on the east side of the hotel
Parking: Parking is $55 per day + valet tip. There are many street stalls around the hotel where you can park, 1.5 dollars per hour from 7 am to 6 pm, and free at other times.
