The room was a bit small, about 30 square meters, but perfectly adequate for two adults and one child, especially since we spent most of our time outdoors anyway and only came back to the hotel to shower and sleep. The hotel's location is excellent – it's very close to the Hilton beach. If you head right out of the hotel and cross the traffic light, there's a 7-Eleven where you can buy a bus pass and snacks. Keep an eye out just before you reach the 7-Eleven intersection, as there's a small food truck market there with delicious and affordable food. P.S. There's an airport shuttle bus that pretty much drops you off right at the hotel entrance. However, if you're looking for the shuttle right after you land, it's a bit of a walk from the terminal. We actually tried out the airport bus route specifically when we were leaving, and it took about forty minutes.

Our first stop on this wonderful vacation had a hotel with a great view. Sitting on the balcony, eating watermelon and watching the sea was so relaxing! Overall, the room was clean and tidy, but it was quite old-fashioned. The housekeeping auntie was really nice and helpful. The resort is super close to ABC Store, the White McDonald's, and the zoo. There are tons of dining options nearby, and the beach is just across the road and very lively. Breakfast was simple, with a Japanese touch, and changed daily, which was a pleasant surprise and quite tasty. However, the housekeeping department and front desk service were just okay. It was hard to get through to them by phone, and the $50 resort fee didn't seem to cover much service, like disposable slippers.

An excellent hotel with good staffs and services, the location is very close to Waikiki beach and it is very convenient to get to shopping malls and restaurants. Although the room is not big, the facilities are enough and it is neat. The only thing is that if u rent a car and wanna park into the hotel, u have to use their valet parking which I feel a bit inconvenient.

The location is great! It was a perfect place for those who want to enjoy the sea main! It's a compact hotel, so you can get something immediately even if you forget something, and you're very satisfied! I'm glad that it's right in front of the pink shuttle bus stop. I don't have any trouble shopping or eating!

We travel 3-5 times a year from Maui, and love staying at the Best Western Plaza Hotel. The staff is great, my daughter loves the pool, and we love waking up and going down to get breakfast every morning.

Took 40 mins for the shuttle to arrive, was given breakfast voucher but left too early the next morning. WIFI was very unstable, which was incredibly frustrating. The staff members were very nice, the room was old but very clean. Ok for a sleep before you go to te airport next day.

I would definitely book Twin Fin again! Perfect location, clean, staff was wonderful! They took very good care of us booking tours with explicit information to get us where we needed to be! I also love that you can check out paddle boards, body boards etc for free! It’s included in your stay! Also they provided water bottles that were refillable for our entire stay with fresh cool water fountains all over Waikiki! What a perfect vacation for my husband and I! We didn’t want to leave! Mahalo! 😎🌴🌊

We were a bit disappointed initially with the cleanliness as there was a stain on the bed sheet upon entering the room. Thankfully, housekeeping changed it within the hour. The place is located in a central location, close to the beachfront at Waikiki, with a partnership with beachfront stores for beach equipment, as well as GoPros, sunscreen, lotion etc. that can be borrowed, included in the resort rate. However, the age of the hotel is really starting to show, it is in need of not just a touch up but an overhaul where possible. To be fair, the price, especially that paid for during this period, was a fair representation especially compared to neighbouring downtown hotels, given you do receive much more space and a kitchenette with microwave in the case of the 1 bedroom suite. However, I would say that I would have enjoyed my stay far more if at least some work was put in to modernise the space. In particular, my bathtub had peeling paint, and the colours of the room need some work.

With the weak yen, high prices, and tipping, eating out can be extremely expensive, but you can buy prepared foods and alcohol at the supermarket just a short walk away and relax in this location. I brought pasta and bread from home, so I only ate out once in five days. I wish check-in was a little smoother.

It was a room with a view of the diamond head and the sea. I was a little worried about the height because I wanted a clear view of the sea, but I was satisfied with the Lanai overlooking the two without any problems. It is old as a whole, the bathtub is old, and it takes time to get hot water.
